The affected family is a five-member family that shares ICWA tribes and includes three young children, a mother, and a father. They were placed in foster care because of the condition of the house, which included new flooring due to pipe issues being clogged up and damaging the floors.. Any aid from people, organizations, or churches in offering free flooring services or helping to cover the cost would be greatly appreciated, as parents are unable to pay for the estimate quotes.

A mother and her four children have been in supportive housing after exiting a domestic violence shelter last year. Mom is extremely motivated to find a job and not rely long term on public assistance, and ensures her kids are well taken care of, attend school, and have enjoyable experiences. Mom had to choose between bills this month and chose to pay registration and property tax fees for her car. As a result, she is unable to pay her phone bill this month. Mom and her kids use their phone bill benefits to call relatives out of state as they have no family nearby. Mom is confident in her ability to stay up to date with bills in future months as her government benefits cover monthly bills, but the fees associated with her car were higher than what she planned for. We truly appreciate your assistance in meeting this request, to ensure this family can stay in touch with their loved ones.

Three children came into care with very little belongings, due to homelessness, the children are in need of clothing.

The home also requested for an extra tv if at all possible so they do not have to share one tv, and a bigger couch so everyone can sit together as a family at their placement.

Our team is currently working with a family of four who have until May 31st to address their hoarding situation. There are two children in the home, and at this time, the house is not a safe environment for them. We are seeking assistance not only from churches but also from businesses that have a dedicated team of four or five individuals willing to help us.

Additionally, we are requesting support for a dumpster rental to safely dispose of unwanted items. Other necessary items include trash bags, six boxes, gloves, six large totes, mouse traps, and cleaning supplies.

The mother in this family is struggling with severe depression, while the father is trying to keep up with expenses. DCCCA is working diligently to support the family's mental health and the children's mental and social needs.

There’s single mother with a 16 your old son in jeopardy of being evicted. She is recently divorced and has had to file for bankruptcy. Over the past few months maintaining the household had become more difficult. She received an eviction notice and is facing that notice being enforced next week, if she cannot pay $2257.

Single mom of two children (one with significant medically complexity) is struggling to pay her rent this month due to misplacing the already purchased money order for their income-based housing. Mother has taken great lengths to locate the misplaced payment but has come up short. There aren't any community agencies able to help until she has received a formal eviction notice which she doesn't want to risk due to the need for stable housing of her medically complex child. Please consider assisting with this tangible need!

6 year old girl in need of items for an upcoming trip to Texas for her brother's surgery. Her brother has a genetic medical condition and is going to have surgery in Austin, TX in June on his jaw/face for reconstruction and possible tracheotomy removal. The family will be driving to Austin and renting a place to stay for several weeks. The family is hoping to gather items to help their child manage the long drive as well as the many hours she will spend at the hospital with her brother. Items that might be helpful would be coloring books, drawing supplies, crayons, markers, colored pencils, small lego sets, medical play kit (she wants to be a doctor) and she loves mermaids and unicorns. This family would be very appreciative of any help that could be provided.

Single mother of 2 is working very hard to find stable housing and work while also uninsured. One of the two children has been bullied at school for the clothes that she wears. The bullying has been relentless, to the point of daughter wanting to self-harm. The daughter is in safe hands. Clothes for the daughter are hard to find, as in age appropriate and in her style in sizes 2X. A gift card to any clothing places that has her size would help take a burden off of mom's shoulder and empower her daughter to feel more confident in choosing her clothes. This family is just coming from homelessness but just got moved into their new home! I'm so excited for them as its a big step this family. The mother who is disabled has been working so hard at getting everything together for there new home and could use a little love and support from her community in getting a bed for her child and couch for the house. A young mother has escaped a domestic violence situation with the father of her baby, the baby has recently come into care. The baby is placed with a kinship provider; the mother is working two jobs and providing for her baby, although the baby is not in her home currently. A dedicated single mother of three children is doing her best to balance work and her health in the midst of job searching.
