We are seeking assistance with getting a foster home a bed alarm for a child in their care. The child is level 3 autistic and wonders at night. This nightly wondering has brought concerns for safety and the family needs assistance with getting a bed alarm for the child. The child is 9 years old.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I have a household of three, mom is doing all she can to keep her family afloat. Recently, her life has been overturned: her work hours have been reduced, cutting deeply into her income. Compounding this challenge is her ongoing battle with medical issues, leaving her physically and financially strained. Once able to provide for her family with stability, she now finds herself scrambling to pay for the essentials, rent and is finding it hard just to keep a roof over their heads and maintain basic necessities. This family needs a helping hand to get back on their feet. Now, more than ever, this family is searching for a lifeline. A small act of kindness could make a world of difference, helping them bridge the gap and regain hope for a brighter future.

We have four children who qualify for a Choctaw CDIB and Membership. However, they are unable to get registered without the father's birth certificate. The father is incarcerated and has lost his birth certificate and does not have any means to pay for another. upon getting the CDIB/Membership, the children and foster home could receive extra support from the tribe that could be extremely beneficial to the childrens wellbeing and future.

We have a father who is going to start his unsupervised overnight visit with his daughter this weekend, the father is unemployed and currently receiving SSI as he is legally blind. This father move in the area to where her daughters has been placed at to be able to visit her as much as he can. This father stated that since he is about to start his unsupervised overnight visit this week, he is asking if we can help him with some grocery as his daughter will be in his home this weekend, he stated that he will receive his food stamp sometimes next week, he currently living in a one bedroom home and he's planning to sleep in air mattress in the living room when his daughter stays. As of right now he has one air conditioner that's located in the living room and there's no air conditioner in the bedroom to where his daughter will sleep. He stated that he might be needing a dresser for her as well for her belongings one she move in with him. This father is in need of help with 2 pillows, a dresser, grocery and Air Conditioner (if possible)

A kinship foster parent relocated to Oklahoma several months ago and was unable to transport their beds/mattresses from the previous state they lived in. The family has been renting beds and mattresses which is getting to be too expensive for them to continue doing so. The family has asked for help with beds. The child uses a twin-size bed and the foster mom would use any size given.

These children were placed into ER custody are from out of state and no relatives anywhere near here. The clothes they did have are unable to be retrieved by anyone at this time due to impound. We are working on getting family to OK and cleared for custody, but it may take a few days. Our clothing closet did not have their sizes. 13M athlete likes basic colors; 15F girl likes cute teen style not little girls

We have a kinship placement who is having financial hardship these days, she's caring for a 5 month old boy and needing help to provide him a diaper (size 2) and a wipes.

Hi ya'll! We have a sibling group that has come into custody. We are in need of size large pull up and sensitive wipes. Providing these items will meet the children's basic needs in addition to securing foster placement while their parents work toward reunification. Thank you for any and all help you can provide these children.

Due to the kinship parent living on a fixed income, he is needing help with getting items needed to insure a kinship placement .

Family consists of a grandmother raising two small grandchildren. Her rent is due on May 1st. It is to be based on income, but forms were not submitted by apartment manager in time. This month her rent will be full price which will take more than 50% of her monthly income.

A one-year-old child is experiencing a developmental delay in walking. Providing a stroller or wagon would facilitate her mobility during outdoor activities.

The foster family is currently living in a camper as a temporary situation due to their two-story structured home having water damage to the upstairs and downstairs from plumbing issues.   The 14 year old foster child is sleeping on the couch in the living room/kitchen area of the camper with very little room for private space/belongings.   The family needs help with replacing the sheet rock downstairs on the ceiling, tearing up the carpet in the living room, replacing the upstairs sinks, inspecting the plumbing, an exterminator, and possibly help decluttering the home. This would allow the family to return to a regular home.  This would help preserve the kinship placement as well and not having to disrupt the child's life or create behaviors do to the disruptions because of having to leave the kinship placement.
