A family of five with one on the way (Mom is 22 weeks along) has fallen on extremely hard times. Not only is the pregnancy very high risk to both mom and baby, but both parents have lost their jobs and are unable to pay their rent for next month despite doing odd jobs, such as Uber, in order to meet their bills while they look for employment and complete their studies. Both of these parents are also full-time aviation mechanics students that look forward to a future in this field, but they still have a year or more left until they graduate. This family has faced homelessness before, but the stakes are higher now that Mom is pregnant. Between rent and utilities, they find themselves facing an uphill battle against time and are at maximum stress levels. Would you consider helping?

Single mother of 3 with one medically fragile child is pregnant and she hasn't had a newborn in her home for 10 years. Assistance with supplies for a new baby in the home would significantly help her financially. Currently unemployed due to 1 child's severe medical needs but will be gaining employment once nursing care is secured. She can use any essential newborn items such as bottles, pacifiers, blankets, burp clothes, baby clothes, baby swing, diapers, and wipes. Mother is due in August.

Please help a mother who is need of a bunk bed, and a dining room table set to furnish her home due to just moving into a home. Helping this mother furnish her home will help her to prepare her home for when her children are returned back into her care and will help with proper sleeping arrangements for the child that she currently has in the home with her.

Single mom with three children under 5. Post -homeless are in need of basic items especially clothes and shoes for the children. Family has lived in current apartment for four months since transitioning from a homeless shelter. Mom is pregnant with her fourth child. Family left domestic violence situation from father of the children. Family lives in an apartment with no furniture. Mom sleeps on a twin mattress on the floor and children sleep in cots.

Size clothing Needed:

• 21 month old female- size 5 shoes and socks, clothing 24 month-2T, diapers (size 5) and wipes
• 35 month old (2 almost 3 y/0) male-size 7 child shoes and socks, 2T clothing(shorts, pants, and shirts) and 2T-3T pull-ups
• 5 year old female-size 10 child shoes, 5T clothing (socks, dresses, shirts, shorts, pants, size 6 underwear) child will be starting kindergarten soon and mom is also interested in uniform clothing (khaki or navy blue bottoms and white tops-t-shirt or polos)

Furniture:

• Small children table with chairs for children to eat their meals

Two children (girls), 9 and 6yo, were placed with a grandmother. The grandmother has been able to help with some of the girls needs, but she needs sleeping arrangements for them. Mother has not been involved and has not seen the grandmother/children in over 2 months. The children need bunk beds.

I currently have two foster kids who have been returned to their mother and are in need of some dressers for their clothes/rooms. Children are 6 and 12 years old. The family has struggled with keeping the home clean and organized and the dressers will help both the kids and the mother with keeping the home organized.

Although she has been working to support her family, her vehicle recently broke down, preventing her from getting to work and resulting in a loss of income. She is now struggling to pay her rent and at risk of falling behind. Due to her current citizenship status, she has had difficulty qualifying for many rental assistance programs and organizations. Any support or resources available to help her during this challenging time would be deeply appreciated.

Family in Urgent Need of Safe Housing Support.

A single mother of two—one child just 2 years old and the other 17—is currently facing unsafe living conditions in her apartment. For some time, the unit has suffered from severe structural issues, including floors caving in and a large hole in the bathtub. While the landlord has recently started repairing the hole, they’ve now discovered a leak in the apartment that may require extended repairs.

Instead of providing a safe, habitable solution, the landlord has asked the mother and her children to temporarily relocate to another unit on the property that is known to be in even worse condition. The proposed unit has been reported to be infested with rodents and presents numerous additional concerns for the family's health and safety.

In her attempt to advocate for herself and her children, the mother reached out to the local housing department. Unfortunately, the only support offered was a letter allowing her to vacate the apartment. However, with her sole income being Supplemental Security Income (SSI), she lacks the financial resources to secure a new place to live—particularly the upfront costs such as a rental deposit.

This family urgently needs support to find safe and stable housing. Assistance with a security deposit or temporary housing could make all the difference in preventing homelessness and ensuring these children can live in a clean and secure environment.

This a single mother with three children that are female age 10, Female age 4, and male age 17. The family moved to an apartment and the children are in need of beds. The beds would help the mom that is currently not working, but going to school. The help would help the family financially and they would appreciate it.

I have a single father with three children (a 2-year-old boy and twin 7-month-old boys). He currently has no income. He needs to find a job as soon as possible. He has a potential job, but they are asking him to have an Orange Vest and Brown Shoes (size 13). He needs those items so he can get the job.

I have a current family of five struggling with basic household products. Both parents are employed and have three children, 10, 11 and 14. Both parents have placed the needs of the children above their own. The father is in need of new work clothes and would deeply appreciate a gift card to academy. He works in HVAC. The family is currently engaged in services, and the father is working on his sobriety and steps towards a clean life. Caseworker is utilizing community resources for food, clothing and other household essentials for the family. But we would be grateful for a gift card to Academy sports for the father is able to obtain newer work clothing.

This mother just gave birth three days ago to her newest family member. She is a single mother living on a fixed income/budget without any support from any of the fathers of her children. She has recently moved to Forney and is in need of furniture. She has been able to provide beds for all of her children, but they would greatly benefit form the use of furniture to make it feel more like home.
