Hello! A teenage boy has recently been brought into custody, and mom is having trouble reliably getting to Family Time. She is committed to working on services, and has been involved and communicative in the progress of the case. A bus pass would help her become more independent and spend more time with her son. A single mother of a 6-year-old boy, 5-year-old girl, and 2-year-old girl is completing inpatient substance abuse treatment on 5/15/25 and has been accepted into a transitional living program so she can continue on her path of recovery. Payment of the security deposit, by cash or money order only, is required in order to move in. This mother is currently unemployed due to being in treatment but does have a job waiting for her as soon she relocates. Her children have been able to be with her while she is inpatient, but if she is not able to secure her spot in this transitional living program, she does not have a safe place to go, and the children will have to return to foster care placement until she can get settled somewhere. Assistance with this urgent need will allow this family to remain together and make a fresh start.

Calling out to the village! I have a home who is needing assistance with an utility bill which has sky rocked since an immediate move for the foster children in their home. They have placement of two young beautiful children who love to stay with their foster parents. can you please help reserve this placement?

The family has placement of 3 children. There was a recent change in the family's financial situation that has caused them to need assistance paying their electric bill so that it is not cut off.

I have a single mother of four children who recently moved into an apartment. The children's ages are 8yr, 6yr, 5yr, and 4yr. The family has limited house hold items. The family is in need of dressers (new or used) for the children OR plastic storage containers for clothing. Thank you for helping our families in need!

At our summer kids club we provide lunch for a diverse set of students, Tuesday - Thursday at Noon. Each Summer we ask churches, families, or individuals to come serve meals to our students. We typically have around 60 students enrolled. In some cases, there are left over food, and this will be used towards a day when no one is signed up to bring food. We would love for you to partner with us to serve these students that perhaps wouldn't have food during these days if it weren't for opportunities like these. We have started a sign-up genius to allow volunteers to sign up to serve meals.

We are working with a kinship foster home who has taken in their grandchildren. The family is nearly fully approved and is taking great care of the children. The family has struggled to adjust to increased expenses and is needing help with some bills in order to stay caught up until they receive financial assistance from OHS. We have been able to get some assistance with one bill and if someone could help with this bill it would get the family caught up. I have a single mother on my caseload with a four year old and 2 month old baby. My client recently had to pay for repairs on her car and it cut into her monthly budget. My client would benefit from transportation assistance (gas card) to get back and forth from work, the baby's doctor appointments, and day care. Any help would GREATLY be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello all, I am hoping you can help a very dear family. They are 5 adults and 2 children, living in a household that are looking for rental assistance. The family had to leave a previous location due to being uninhabitable, and the previous landlord did not correct the issues. The family has exhausted other resources by staying with other family members and was even homeless for a day. The family was able to obtain a They were able to find a place to stay, but are in need of deposit for the rental by this Saturday (2 days from now). The deposit is $1500. The family is unable to come up with the deposit due to fixing their vehichle which is their only mean for transportation, allowing them to work. Meeting this immediate need for this family will allow them to maintain shelter.

Safe Families is working with a single mom of two year old boy recently fled from domestic violence situation and is in their own apartment. Mom is dealing with some medical issues that will require surgery soon and she is unable to work. The social security disability check was short this month, for reason still unknown. This left her short on rent and she was just given an eviction notice. Mom is taking steps to handle this issue to insure next months rent will be paid as usual. She is also working hard for the medical needs of her and her son. Helping support this family will keep them stable in their current living situation and prevent them from being homeless.

Oklahoma Human Services is currently working with a family consisting of a mother and two children ages 4 and 5. The mother has just left a difficult and unsafe relationship with the children's father where the father was the sole financial provider. She has been able to secure housing for herself and the children on their own for the first time since they have moved to Oklahoma. The mother is doing her best to secure everything needed for herself and the children to include daycare, getting a new job, furnishing their apartment, and building a life for them on their own. The mother is in need of assistance purchasing car seats for the children to ensure that they are safe in the car. The children are tiny and still in 5-point harness car seats. She was able to budget for a booster seat for the oldest, but she is still too small for it. Any assistance for this family would be greatly appreciated!
