Hello, I have 2 teenage girls (15 and 13) that are in need of clothes, shoes and under garments. They were living with their mother, who is verbally and emotionally abusive. Their mother struggles with substance abuse and gave away and sold all their things. The girls have very little items and continue to wash the same clothes. The girls are amazing children who deserve to have their basic needs met. I am asking for clothing for the girls' shirts, pants, shorts, shoes, bras and underwear.

Children were taken in by their aunt. Mother's whereabouts are unknown at this time. 1 teenage boy 1 teenage girl

The aunt could use some help with groceries to help supply food for the children. She could also use a gas card to help the cost of bringing the children to appointments.

Parent(mom) would like assistance with receiving a potty chair to teach her son to potty independently and diapers. Mom is a single parent and struggling to purchase diapers. She is currently receiving some assistance receiving diapers but the amount she is receiving is not enough.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

A widowed mother of six children is in need of a twin size mattress for her nine-year son. This will help the child get a good night sleep and do better in school.

I am currently working with a single mother of 5, the youngest being 10 month old twins, who has recently been placed on temporary medical leave to undergo surgery. This mom is not getting paid during this leave and is worried she will not be able to pay her rent for next month without any income coming in at this time. The mom has been able to DoorDash here and there, but the pay is so little and inconsistent, it hardly covers food, formula and hygiene products for the family. This mom just recently moved into a home and is receiving housing, however, HUD is not willing to reduce her rental costs for the time being until she can return to work at the end of next month. Local resources for assistance with this one-time rental payment have also already been exhausted. I would like to request help for this most humble mother in the amount of $750 so that she may be able to undergo her surgery without having to stress about being evicted/homeless due to these unforeseen circumstances. She and I both would be so grateful or any assistance with this. Thank you for your time.

I am requesting help with helping a family move their belongings to their new home. The family was homeless and their belongings are currently in a hotel and storage. They are requesting help with moving the items. This family is located in fort worth and moving within the city. if someone is able to volunteer for a few hours that has moving truck they would really appreciate it.

A single mother of three young children—each under the age of 5—has just taken a big step forward by moving into her own apartment. Two of her children are eagerly preparing to reunify and return home soon to live with their mom and youngest sibling. As this family begins to rebuild, a safe and functional couch is urgently needed. The current couch, which was generously donated, is now broken and no longer safe for the children to use. A standard-size family couch would not only provide comfort—it would help create a welcoming, stable space for these young children to come home to.

Help is urgently needed to reunify two young children with their mother and older sister. Childcare assistance has been approved but typically takes 7–14 business days to activate. In the meantime, this dedicated single mother is working full time, saving toward a vehicle, and doing everything she can to transition her family out of the Union Gospel Mission (UGM) homeless shelter into stable housing. She has secured childcare placement for her two youngest children, but without immediate funding, she risks losing her employment—and the progress she’s fought so hard to make. The total cost for both children to attend daycare is $462 per week. Just one to two weeks of support could make all the difference in helping this family stay on track for reunification, independence, and long-term stability.

The family needs help with house extermination as they do have some roaches. The family has been working on cleaning and de-cluttering the home, but they will need the home to be treated for roaches. They are unable to pay for treatment.

The family is having a hard time drying their clothes at home. The parents stated the dryer needs a belt for the dryer to work. The parents stated they are not financially able to get the washer fixed. They would need the part that needs to be replaced and for someone to install the belt on the dryer. The family has been re-wearing clothes and bring clothes to the washeteria and drying the clothes there but wash the clothes at home.

The mother and father are struggling at this time, with providing proper care for their children. Although, they have tried to reach out to several agencies for help. Upon visiting with the family, they are in dire need of help with repairing their toilet. They have tried several ways to repair their toilet. They have tried to get the toilet unclogged but after so many months, the toilet reverts back to the same problems. The home is rented by the family but in the lease, the renters have sole responsibilities of repairing any damages to the home. At this time, the parents are unable to pay for new toilet. The family will also need an installment of the toilet.

Single mother and her two young children are in need of a queen size bed with mattress/box spring or an air mattress so she and her two children have something to sleep on at their new location. This will provide children comfort.
