This request is being submitted on behalf of a Hope Florida participant. The participant is a mother of two children. This family is currently experiencing homelessness. They have no stable place to stay, and their only option right now is sleeping in a hot car or on the streets. This situation is extremely unsafe. This family is experiencing an extremely difficult situation, especially the children. This mom is deeply concerned about the safety and health of her children due to the hot temperatures currently in South Florida. Please help this family have a clean, cool and safe place to sleep and rest. A safe place to sleep will help this family rest and recoup as they work toward finding stable housing. With your help they can avoid the dangers and hardships of living unsheltered and focus on rebuilding their lives. Thank you for your kindness and support which will help improve this family's living situation. They are asking for your help with a $500 hotel voucher.

A single mother of five children is need of housing. In the meantime, she will be staying at the Howard Johnson Inn on US1 for a couple nights with her children at $120 per night.

A young father was recently reunified with his (3) young sons aged 5, 4 and 1. The 4 year old child is non-verbal autistic and must attend (4) appointments, out-of-county, with a specialist per week pertaining to his special needs. The father's car recently broke down necessitating costly emergency repairs. The father is gainfully employed, however he is on an extremely fixed income and is now 2 months behind in rent and 1 month behind in daycare costs due to the costly automobile repairs. The 1 year old child has been unable to return to daycare due to the father's inability to pay the weekly cost of daycare. The 5 and 4 year old sons need to be enrolled in a daycare or summer program but the father is unable to afford the weekly cost of daycare. The 5 and 4 year old sons will be enrolled in school at the conclusion of summer break which will alleviate some of the father's financial burden.

DV survivor mother of two needs a bed for one of her children to have appropriate safe sleep. She had to leave the residence to get away from the perpetrator abruptly and could not move everything out on her own.

A caregiver is in need of assistance for an 8-year-old male who was recently placed into her care. The child came to her with no clothing or shoes. The child is in need of clothing, socks and shoes; other donations are encouraged and welcomed. Once this need is met the child will be able to settle into his placement more comfortably, and the caregiver will be able to focus on the child's additional needs. The child wears a size 14/16 in boys and a size 5 in shoes.
