Story
Fostering Together is working a student who attends East Cobb Church Inside Out (high school ministry). Her father was recently sent to jail and her mother's whereabouts are unknown. She has been living with her brother and his family and has been able to remain at her current school which is very important to her. This week, the family was forced to move out of their living situation. They had been up to date with rent and able to make it pay check to pay check, but with the forced out move, it has put them in a difficult position facing homelessness. They do not have savings or margin to come up with a security deposit and first/last months rent along with all the new connection fees for utilities. We are requesting financial assistance for this family in order to get into safe housing, to keep them all together, and for the teenager to be able to remain in her current school. Once you commit to a donation, amount, Fostering Together will reach out to give you next step information. Thank you for considering to support this crucial need to stabilize the family with any amount you are able. Susan Phelps, Fostering Together Director, East Cobb Church
