Hello all, I am hoping you can help a very dear family. They are 5 adults and 2 children, living in a household that are looking for rental assistance. The family had to leave a previous location due to being uninhabitable, and the previous landlord did not correct the issues. The family has exhausted other resources by staying with other family members and was even homeless for a day. The family was able to obtain a They were able to find a place to stay, but are in need of deposit for the rental by this Saturday (2 days from now). The deposit is $1500. The family is unable to come up with the deposit due to fixing their vehichle which is their only mean for transportation, allowing them to work. Meeting this immediate need for this family will allow them to maintain shelter.

This family is in need of two bunkbeds and 2 twin mattresses so that they are able to take in a family member that has been placed in foster care. They have not been approved for foster care payments to help assist in purchasing the bunk beds. The bunk beds are needed for placement to take place.

Please consider helping a family of 6 currently struggling due to financial issues, health, and loss of employment. The mother has been out of work since November but recently was able to gain employment and started this past week but will not receive her first paycheck for a couple more weeks; the father is disabled and home with the children. The family recently moved in their grandmother that has been ill and had nowhere else to go, and she experienced a recent hospitalization due to her health. The family has 3 children, ages 5, 10, and 15. The family has been trying to stay afloat by paying when they can but are struggling to cover their water and electric bills for this month. The family could use assistance with their water bill ($305.08) and electric bill ($139.02). Support would allow the family to cover their rent and car expenses, without the risk of their utilities being shut off. The family expresses gratitude and would be thankful for any support.

Safe Families is working with a single mom of two year old boy recently fled from domestic violence situation and is in their own apartment. Mom is dealing with some medical issues that will require surgery soon and she is unable to work. The social security disability check was short this month, for reason still unknown. This left her short on rent and she was just given an eviction notice. Mom is taking steps to handle this issue to insure next months rent will be paid as usual. She is also working hard for the medical needs of her and her son. Helping support this family will keep them stable in their current living situation and prevent them from being homeless.

Family is in need of one full mattress and one twin mattress. This family has now taken 5 children into their home as a kinship foster placement in the past ten months to avoid those children from being placed in traditional foster care, which brings the total amount of children they are financially providing 100% for to 6. They have been able to secure most items for the children including bed frames, but they are not able to afford new mattresses for the two children who were placed in their home two weeks ago.

The Demand Project (TDP) exists to eradicate human trafficking, online enticement, child sexual abuse material, and the commercial sexual exploitation of children. One of the ways we do this is through our residential campus for teen girls who have been victim of this. Currently we are looking for a modest bathing suit for one of the residents we serve who has the opportunity to attend a church camp in a couple of weeks. However, due to limited finances, the family is currently unable to purchase a toddler mattress and frame. They are hoping to receive this support to ensure their child has a safe, comfortable place to sleep.

This bed will not only benefit their 3-year-old now but will also be used for their 5-month-old when the time comes, making it a lasting investment in their children's well-being. Providing this item will ease a financial burden and help this resilient family continue building a strong foundation for their children’s growth and development.

Client is active in services and seen weekly by therapist and case manager. Mom is needing to get herself and three kids out of ex's home. Mom was able to use savings for the deposit but now is needing help with furniture as her ex is keeping everything from the separation. Following are items needed: Four bed frames/mattresses (twin/full), bedding, pillows, pans, utensils, a couch, dressers, shelves, washer, dryer, microwave, cleaning supplies - vacuum/mop, etc.

A wonderful mom has been reunified with her children after being homeless on and off for a couple of months. This mom now has an apartment with her 5 children. Right now as we are working to find her a job and a daycare she is in need of a bus pass. She does not have a car and saves up the money she does have for her children. A bus pass for a week is $20 and this would be helpful as is trying to find a job.

A courageous mother who has recently been reunited with her five children after experiencing periods of homelessness. She and her children have now secured stable housing, marking a significant milestone in their journey toward stability. As we work together to help her find employment and reliable childcare, one immediate need is transportation. She does not own a vehicle and prioritizes her limited resources to care for her children. A weekly bus pass, priced at $20, would greatly assist her in attending job interviews and securing employment opportunities. If you are able to contribute to this need, your support would make a meaningful difference in her path to self-sufficiency. Any assistance, whether financial or in connecting her with local resources, would be deeply appreciated. Oklahoma Human Services is currently working with a family consisting of a mother and two children ages 4 and 5. The mother has just left a difficult and unsafe relationship with the children's father where the father was the sole financial provider. She has been able to secure housing for herself and the children on their own for the first time since they have moved to Oklahoma. The mother is doing her best to secure everything needed for herself and the children to include daycare, getting a new job, furnishing their apartment, and building a life for them on their own. The mother is in need of assistance purchasing car seats for the children to ensure that they are safe in the car. The children are tiny and still in 5-point harness car seats. She was able to budget for a booster seat for the oldest, but she is still too small for it. Any assistance for this family would be greatly appreciated!

We have a young married couple fostering their nephew and on the road to adoption. Foster mom recently gave birth to a sweet baby girl and is homeschooling and raising 3 other biological children.
