A seventeen-year-old who recently entered foster care has been seeing a therapist whom he has seen for many years. She knows his situation well and he feels very comfortable seeing her for therapy. He says she's "awesome." Upon learning that the teen entered foster care, the therapist applied to take Medicaid so she could keep him as a client. However, this process takes several weeks and the teen and his placement do not have a way of paying the therapist in the meantime. Any support with this request is greatly appreciated!

Working with a pregnant woman who has fled a toxic relationship and homelessness with her very young child. They are safe. She is requesting a rice cooker to help with not only her cultural traditions but support healthy nutrition for her, her toddler and ease some food sensitives with current pregnancy. Thanks

A kinship home is supporting three children in care and just had a baby earlier this month. There were severe medical complications, and therefore the mother has restricted activities and lifting. The family is moving to another city next weekend and I am hoping for a community to come together to support the family in moving on May 2nd and 3rd. The family has already rented a U-HAUL and will need help loading and unloading. I so appreciate any considerations to support this family.

This family just moved from Oklahoma to Kc area just within the last few months getting away from toxic relationship. Please help a grandparent as she acclimates to taking care of two under 18months. She is asking for help to purchase a baby monitor to keep an eye on her newborn grandchild and his 14-month-old brother. This will help also with getting more rest during the night as she currently finds herself constantly awake and checking on them at every sound that comes from the room. A family member is taking in three young children ages 1,3, and 4. Car seats are not safe from the parents due to the condition and the family being homeless and living out of the car. Family member is needing car seats to be able to transport children to the doctors and other appointments that are needed.
