The family lives in a relatively dangerous neighborhood. The parents have items and medications they need to keep in a lock box away from the children for their safety. Each parent needs their own lock box with each box costing about $40.00.

A local family currently caring for their 12-year-old nephew and 8-year-old niece through kinship placement is facing an urgent need. With only one income earner in the household, they are doing everything they can to provide a safe, stable home for the children.

Unfortunately, their refrigerator stopped working last night. Without disposable income or savings, they are unable to replace it at this time—and the food they have is quickly spoiling.

We are reaching out to the community to ask if anyone has a working refrigerator they would be willing to donate—new or gently used. Your generosity would make a tremendous difference in helping this family preserve their food and maintain stability for these children.

The biological mother is in need of transportation assistance to ensure she can attend her scheduled appointments on time. She is diligently working to complete the required services and is committed to reuniting with her children. Providing this support would greatly help her progress in the reunification process. We sincerely appreciate your consideration and support for this mother and her family.

Foster family needs assistance with purchasing a baby camera/monitor due to sleep walking at night. This will help the foster family to ensure appropriate supervision is being provided at all times and ensure this placement can be maintained. Any help with be greatly appreciated.

Natural mother is staying at a shelter in Tulsa and she needs a bus pass to complete parenting classes and meet with her son for family time. Cost of a 31 day monthly bus pass is $50.00.

We are requesting assistance with a toddler bedframe, mattress, sheets and comforter for a 1 year old boy who was placed in a newly approved kinship home. His current sleep arrangements were approved temporarily, and to continue placement in the home, the toddler bed is needed. Any assistance with obtaining a bed would be greatly appreciated.

A mom who recently started trial reunification with her 2 toddlers and has a new baby on the way just moved into a new apartment needs baby proofing supplies!

Natural father to a five month old baby girl is working to make his home a safe place so they can reunify this summer. He currently needs a crib, high chair, Johnny jumper, sound machine, baby monitor, baby proofing supplies (cabinet locks, outlet covers...), Avent bottles with size four nipples, Tommee Tippee ultra light pacifiers, baby bath essentials, diaper cream, crib sheets, sleep sacks, three to six month baby girl clothes, and size three and four Pampers Swaddlers diapers. Anything helps. This father is working very hard to build a safe home and support system so he can successfully parent his baby girl.

This family consist of a mother and her two children, ages 2 and 3. The mom has been completing our home visiting program - SafeCare, to try and maintain placement with her children. She recently got reunited with her kids, and is in need of some items to help keep them safe! The main item needed is a car seat for the 3 year old so that mom can transport the kids safely. The child is 3, about to be 4, so a toddler car seat is an appropriate size! Mom is a full time caregiver for both kids, and during the day is watching the 3 year old from home due to complications. Mom picks up the 2 year old from daycare every day and is trying to take the kids to all of their needed doctors appointments, but she is needing a car seat for the 3 year old to be able to do this safely. Any assistance is helpful!!!

Mom in need of bunk beds and mattresses for teenage children. Full sized bunks/mattresses would be preferable, but twin would be accepted. Children are currently sleeping on air mattresses which are deflated so the cats won't puncture them. Mom is working full time but is not able to afford bedding for the children. She is also actively following recommendations of her FCS case. Any help would be much appreciated.

This amazing family welcomed a child into their home this March, but they are not receiving financial assistance from OKDHS at this time. They've faced so much this year, including losing their home and having to quickly relocate. Tragically, last month, the foster mother's ex-husband and father to her children passed away. As his next of kin, she took on the responsibility of arranging and paying for his funeral, which has left her completely depleted financially. She's now in a difficult position and doesn't even have gas money to get to work. They could really use some support to help them get by until her next payday on the 15th. Anything you could offer would be a tremendous help.

Bio mom is needing help with transportation to be able to visit with her daughter and make it to all of her appointments.
