Mother is receiving family reunification services through the Department of Children and Family Services. Mother has made substantial progress in addressing her issues and has complied with all of DCFS and Court ordered treatment plan. However, mother does not have stable housing. She reports she is temporarily staying with different friends but mother states their home is not able to accommodate her elementary and middle school age children. Mother does not have the adequate housing nor the resources to secure alternate housing to provide to her children so that she may safely care for them, if children are return to her care. Mother is undocumented. Court has granted overnight visits and the visits may take place in a hotel. The mother is asking if anyone can provide her with a gift card to be use to pay for a hotel. Mother has to show that she is able to care for her children during her visits. Mother would greatly appreciated and the children.

Please help an expecting mother who is about to give birth at the end of this month (May 2025) to obtain a travel system stroller and car seat combo. The client and her family are struggling financially, as they are currently unemployed.

Dallas County Permanency Court Judge Gonzales has 15 youth who have never been adopted graduating from high school this year. Some are going to college, some are staying in extended care, and some are going into the work force. We would like to provide each of them with “Launch Baskets” to support them as they enter adulthood without family supports. Each launch basket will be tailored to each youth’s specific situation and preferences and will include a Bible and items such as new bedding, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and gift cards. The mom is currently not working due to having a baby. She hasn't been able to work since having the baby. Dad currently is working on and off jobs and at the moment they do not have income and family is helping. Mom stated she went to food stamps and applied,but she is currently waiting for the application to be processed. The family is needing help with groceries and baby items.

A dedicated single mother in the final five weeks of RCC’s nursing program is seeking assistance with summer clothing for her two children. As she prepares for the upcoming expense of licensing fees required to begin her nursing career, she is currently unable to afford these essential items.

Her 14-year-old son wears a men’s medium in shirts and size 14 in pants. Her 10-year-old daughter wears size 10/12 tops and 11/12 pants, she is tall for her age.

A single mother of four children is in need of bedding for her children. Client was able to get stable housing for her and her children two months ago and beds but not bedding for them. Client is in need of a twin bedding set and a full-size bedding set. Client is also in need of a shelving organizer and bathroom shelf organizer. Client wants to provide a safe and less cluttered space for her children. Due to client’s limited income, she is not able to provide necessary items for her children. Client currently is not able to work due to her mental health. Client is eager to work on her mental health to be able to return to work. Client is currently working with Case Manager on her resume and preparing for a better future for her and her children. Client states she is fortunate if anyone can help. 20 year old female came into state custody originally due to severe abuse when she was a young teenager. She has come a long way and is now ready to be in her own apartment and is working hard to better herself. The young lady is in need of a new bed for her apartment. She also needs a laptop as she will be starting college in the Fall. Any help would be much appreciated.

We have a young, single mother of 3 children (ages 1, 4 and 5). She is experiencing unstable housing and financial stress. The mother is a victim of domestic violence and is trying to keep her children sheltered and safe from harm. The mother has been residing with the maternal grandmother in a single unit apartment with the children. The MGM put the mother and children out on yesterday and stole the mother’s food stamps from her EBT card. The mother is not able to purchase any food for herself and the children. She was able to get a room in Hollywood through PATH and is awaiting placement in a DV shelter. DCFS and the agencies involved with this family are working tirelessly to find a residence the mother and children. The mother can be reached on her cell phone and the CSW is able to correspond with the mother accordingly. We are hoping that a donor will pick up this request and provide the family with a $300.00 grocery gift card or purchase food for the family so that the mother and children do not go hungry.

We have a mother who has a six-month old baby that is teething. The mother is very resilient and is thriving with all of her programs she is involved in. She is a domestic violence survivor and is using her experience to build and grow within her life. She is in therapy to address the concerns that brought her family to the attention of the Department. She is a domestic violence survivor. She is a good mother who truly cares for her daughter. During our meetings the baby is always smiling and giggling. Recently, the baby began teething and is in need of hypoallergenic-silicon weaning cups, baby spoons, feeding set, and food making system (NutriBullet). I am in hopes that some of these items can possibly make it to her.

A dedicated single mother of three children is doing her best to balance work and her health in the midst of job searching. Any assistance would be incredibly helpful, as it would ease her daily burden. The energy bill came higher than she expected. She has been making payments over time, however, was served a disconnection notice if not paid by 5/12/2025. Please consider helping out this family keep their energy on. Thank you.

The school community closet Warrior Closet gives every kid who visits for back-to-school backpack and school clothes shopping a brand new pair of shoes to start school in. We are preparing for our August 5th opening back. We had 99 kids come through last year for the three-day 6hrs of events. I like to put this out early so people contributing can keep an eye on the sales and when, especially Famous footwear and or Rackroom, do buy one get one 1/2 off bogos on shoes and backpacks. They also put a lot of shoes on clearance that you can buy with the BOGOs too. The kids 11 through size 1 love the character shoes. The 2 and or above ones I would do something they can wear more with everything.

Three siblings currently residing with their grandmother in St. Joseph are in urgent need of support. The family requires two twin-size mattresses to replace those that were infested with bed bugs, as well as three pillows—one for each child. Providing these items will help preserve the current kinship placement and ensure that the siblings can remain together in a safe and stable environment. The Missouri ICPC has requested additional services for this family, and we want to ensure they are fully prepared for the upcoming DSS visit scheduled for May 14th.
