Virginia Career Works is working with a young man who recently moved into housing after being homeless the majority of the year. He is still in high school and is trying to manage school, being on his own for the first time, and looking for work. He worked at an internship all summer and has used that money to keep up with his rent so far, but now only has a few dollars left in his account and his electric bill is passed due. He will be starting work next week but won’t get paid right away and would like to prevent getting a cut off notice for his electricity. His bill is $36.65 and will be $37.01 after 11/25/20. He is also in need of a table and a couple of chairs for kitchen, side or end table for chair in living room, clothes hangers, dresser and a lamp.
