One year girl was brought into Children's Division as an infant and has been living with a relative. The case goal is adoption with the relative. The family's home was severely damaged by the recent tornado and all of the child's bedroom furniture and bedding were destroyed. Any help for the family would be much appreciated.

Female child (15), Female child (9), Male Child (6), Female child (5). Mother and single parent of the four children had her car towed while she was working. The family is in need of help to retrieve the vehicle to support mother in continuing with treatment services and family time, essential for the children.

A 16 year old male is involved with the Children's Division due to severe substance abuse by his parent. The young man has experienced one trauma after another. He is currently living with a relative and sleeping on a twin bed that his feet hang off of because he is a tall young man. The family is asking for a complete queen bed so he will be more comfortable.

We have a caregiver that has taken in 2 non-rrelatied children. She is struggling financially. Our program will be making efforts to license her as a foster parent so she will have ongoing financial support available in about 60 days.

This caregiver is in need of clothes and underwear for a boy size 8 and a pair of shoes size one and size 4 for a 3 year old girl with size 9 shoes. She also said that the children need toiletries/hygiene supplies such as toothpaste and toothbrushes due to some dental issues. She is in need of a dresser and car seat for the little girl as well. In addition, she states that she is having some challenges with having enough food for the family as two additional kids have been added to the home. She is ineligible for SNAP benefits due to her income, but it is still a financial hardship for her. She is requesting assistance to help her to meet the needs of the kids in her care.

The mother and father are a young couple that have a seven month old daughter and they have been homeless nearly the entire time since the baby was born. There are concerns for the parents abilities to provide adequate care for themselves and the baby though there are services in place to provide advice and resources to the family. The parents have had children removed and freed for adoption in the past and efforts are focused on working with the parents to address joblessness, homelessness, and other challenges they are currently or will likely face in the near future. The parents have just been approved for rental assistance and have secured an apartment in the village of Fort Plain. I am seeking simple household items to assist the family until they are able to secure jobs and pay to provide further amenities. I am also looking for child safety locks for drawers, cabinets, and outlets due to the child near the age of mobility. A set at Walmart looked to be less than $10. I also added insulated curtains if possible for two very large old windows that face the street.

Family of four is facing eviction July 17, 2025. Family needs $7,000 to keep their family together and current home. Father recently laid off from work and is looking for long term employment. Father is a licensed painter and willing to work.

A young family of 2 children ages 1 and 7 years old are requesting a dryer as they moved into a house from an apartment. The couple have been here from Venezuela for about 2.5 years and help out at Centro Cristiano a Las Naciones with leading music. They moved from an apartment which had a washer and dryer and now they need to provide for their own. The father is looking for work and does odd jobs to help pay for rent, bills, food, clothing, etc. A dryer will help mom take care of her kids so that they will be able to attend school and help their hygiene. A single mother of 5 children missed quite some time from work due to unforeseen behavior issues with her 7-year-old son, who has since been diagnosed with ADHD and ODD. Due to these conditions, her son was not able to stay in school full days and she had to stop working for seven months until she was able to get him approved through his insurance for an in school one-on-one counselor, a smaller classroom setting and also a 504/IEP plan. Now that he has those, she has been able to get another job but won’t get paid until June 30th. She has fallen behind on her rent and several other bills. I am requesting help with the following bills: rent for May $833, she has worked out a payment plan with her landlord for the remaining balance if she can get May’s rent paid; light bill $274 and that is with an approval for cooling assistance from social services which starts on 6/15, her disconnect is for 6/16; water bill $54.37 which also has a disconnect for 6/16. I am also requesting assistance with food and gas money. Mom reached out to her social worker about all these requests, but worker was not able to process her snap application in time for her to receive benefits for June, so she won’t receive any snap benefits until July 4. She also needs money for gas to get to her job.

A elderly lady within our church community is in need of furniture for her apartment. She has been living in the senior living apartments for over 2 months and does not have what’s needed to make her home a comfortable living environment. She has a bed and a tv. She is in need of towels, linen for her bed, kitchen towels, dishes, sofa, table and chairs, Anything you can do to assist her would be greatly appreciated.

We have a single mom in our church who is working hard to care for her two little girls. She’s doing her best but has recently fallen behind on bills and could use help getting back on her feet. We want to come alongside her in this season and show her that she’s not alone. Let’s rally together to help this sweet family in a big way.
