Young family who recently moved to the area is in need of supplies for their one year old daughter. The father is working however mom has not been able to secure anything yet. They would appreciate help with size 6 diaper and wipes for the baby. Any assistance with groceries for the family would also be welcomed.

DSS is currently supporting a dedicated great-grandmother who is caring for her two great-grandchildren in her home. She is nurturing a two-year-old boy and a six-month-old girl, both of whom require additional resources.

The two-year-old boy needs pull-ups in size 4T, while the six-month-old girl requires diapers and several cans of Similac Advance formula.

Additionally, the two-year-old requires a car seat, and a pack-n-play is essential for the six-month-old. Thank you in advance for your support in this kinship placement.

The two-year-old female child is placed in a kinship with her maternal aunt due to the mother's legal issues. The aunt could use help getting the toddler clothes and pull ups since that happened so abruptly. The toddler is in need of 18 months clothes and 5-t pull ups.

We are submitting this request because a very wonderful church community discovered an unmet need for our family (a young, single mom raising a toddler.) The dressers she has for herself and her baby are inadequate to the task and need to be replaced. Our family is incredibly grateful for the assistance she is receiving and that gratitude translates to more energy for the important things she is doing to improve life for her son. He will grow up in a family that knows gratitude -- an important foundation of spiritual fitness.

Request Details: A single mother of three children (ages 3 to 8) is facing an extremely difficult season. Her 8-year-old son was recently diagnosed with leukemia and is undergoing treatment, which required her to resign from her job in order to care for him full-time.

She is also currently expecting twins (a boy and a girl) and does not have any baby items or support prepared for their arrival. The financial strain of her son’s illness and loss of income has left her unable to pay her rent and utilities, now totaling $2,000, and she is at immediate risk of becoming homeless.

This mother is in urgent need of:

Housing and utility assistance ($2,000 need) Gas cards to travel to and from her son's medical appointments Newborn baby items (clothes, diapers, bottles, blankets, etc.) Your support will provide this family with stability, hope, and relief during an incredibly trying time. We have engine trouble in help in getting to work, my car is not covered

A singe mother of 2 with the 7 year old who has epilepsy and requires specialized treatment. During the last two months the younger child required multiple doctors visits and specialty visits to Stanford Children's Neurosurgery Center. This has put a major financial strain and hardship on the mother. With additional unforeseen costs of travel, medical bills, prescription costs, and lost time from work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to help this family with this urgent need as they are facing eviction. We would like to help reduce any additional stress that would trigger any seizures episodes from occurring from having to move. Your help will keep this young family from becoming unhoused.
