Family is in need of temporary assistance with their light bill. The bill inexplicably doubled, despite parent setting the thermostat to 75 degrees on auto. Parent is experiencing financial hardship due loss of employment. Parent is currently awaiting their next job assignment, which is pending the completion of necessary paperwork. Parent has sought assistance from several friends and family, but unfortunately, they have been unsuccessful. Parent is the sole caregiver for their three children and one grandchild. With this temporary help, parent believes they will be able to manage their bills independently in the future. This assistance will help to restore the family's electricity and provide this basic need.

Youth has been ordered to participate in the Hard Knox mentoring program through truancy court. Mom and dad do not qualify for any benefits due to eligibility issues. Dad had been able to provide until recently when he had a leg injury at work. They are asking for $50 gas card to be able to take their son to and from the program.

The referred family is requesting assistance obtaining a bunk bed, full size bed, and two pack and plays for their five children. The single low income mother of five children and pregnant with her sixth child needs twin size bunk beds (frame and mattresses), a full-size bed and two pack and plays. The family share a one-bedroom apartment with another family and do not have proper furniture for sleeping. Mother currently sleeps on a non-pull-out sofa with her five-year-old and the two smaller children share a playpen to sleep. Older two children are not currently residing with mother however come over to visit and sleep over occasionally. The family would appreciate any help and want to explore all the options to make their children as comfortable as possible at home.

This request is to support the transportation needs of a mother with three children. This is an urgent one-time financial request to support their mother with obtaining her car from repossession, which will allow her to continue her job and the children to continue to attend daycare while their mom works.

She has made arrangements and a financial plan with her lender and needs to get her account current in the next 2 days in order to prevent it from going to auction. This is an incredibly hard working single parent who works full-time and cares so well for her children's needs. The kids attend a daycare center in Jenison while their mom is at work. She fell behind with her car payments due to paying for summer daycare for three children. Even with DHHS childcare assistance, she still has additional payments that she must make for daycare as well as the rest of their daily expenses. She thought that she had more time to catch up with her car payments and learned today of the time urgency.

A Western Union transaction is needed to make this payment directly to the lender as a third party. This one time financial relief would make all of the difference for this family. This mom has successfully navigated many challenging situations and will be responsible in managing her finances with this support. More information will be shared if filling the need, including the lender's number to call to assist with payment.

A nine-year-old girl a being placed with maternal grandmother as parents are incarcerated. There is no other family that is able to step in, so the grandmother has agreed to open her home and care for the child. The grandmother is on disability income and resides in a small apartment, they are needing an air mattress, clothing and pajamas.

Single mom of 3 is expecting a baby girl at the beginning of August and needs assistance with items for her newborn. This is a mother that we've worked with in the past who is reaching out in hopes that we can help her provide items for her newborn baby to come home to. She is very hard working and does all she can to provide for her babies but as a single parent is struggling to secure the supplies she needs for her baby on the way. Any contributions to provide relief would immeasurably encourage and strengthen the welfare of this family.

A grandmother has just received custody of her 3 grandchildren. They are in need of clothes, shoes and school supplies.

1. Girl 5 years old, size 4T clothes and 11 shoes
2. Boy 4 years old, 5T clothes and 11 - 12 shoes.
3. Girl 11 years old, Women's size 9 clothes, medium adult top, and 5 1/2 shoes. They will be attending Pueblo West schools and will need school supplies.

This family has secured an apartment but cannot afford to fully furnish it. Dad, recently lost his job, rent is paid for this month. They need a sofa, beds, kitchen utensils, and the basic items for living. The children are ages 9 and 4, and grandma lives with them as well. They've been coming to Lighthouse Church as a result of using the pantry on site.

A blessed opportunity to help a young, Christian family make it through a very difficult time in the heat of summer. A mother and father trying to secure a roof over their young children and feed their family. Tragically, the mother just lost her baby during delivery; father had to take time off from work to take care of her. He is back working but they are behind a few paychecks.

They need help to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks while they save money to rent an apartment (the apartment isn't ready yet). They could also use help with essentials and food.

If we can help them now, it will stabilize their income and resources for the future.

A family recently had to flee their family home and move into an apartment to escape domestic violence. They are starting over and need basic cleaning items, household items, toiletries, and grocery items. A Walmart gift card would greatly assist this family. Any donation is appreciated.
