Story
Good afternoon. I work for the MO Children's Division's Older Youth Royals Unit. I am requesting community assistance to help one of my older youth with getting her cell phone fixed. My youth 's phone was recently damaged as a result of being physically assaulted by my youth's ex-boyfriend and ex-boyfriends' sister who were waiting for my youth to jump her when she got home from school. My youth sustained some bruising, chipped a tooth, and her phone was damaged as a result of the attack. My youth is only 17 and does not have a job at this time and therefore cannot afford to repair her phone or buy a new one. I am worried because I currently have no consistent way to communicate with my youth right now and I want to be able to ensure her ongoing safety and security especially in light of this recent assault. My youth told me it would cost about $250 to repair her phone. Any community assistance to help my youth would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
