Story
Family consists of a single mother with two young children (ages 4 and 6). Mother was unable to work (as a delivery driver) after injuring her feet in September. Family is in need of temporary assistance with money for gas to alleviate the financial burden without her regular income. The assistance will assure the children's continued school and daycare attendance (located 30-40 miles away one-way). The family originally resided in the San Fernando Valley area and have been attending a 24/7 child care program. This day care programs hours allow the mother to work and attend school and is also within the paternal families residence which is an added support for the family therefore the mother has selected to have the children remain in the same day care program and school.
