Story
The family consists of the father, paternal grandmother, and 4-year-old child. Currently the dad does not have a license and has to walk from Waterford to Leesburg for all of his appointments for therapy, his daughter's speech therapy, and his medical appointments for his tumor follow up. The father stated he had to walk 285 miles within 2 weeks. The department was given an electric bike which will be going to the father to assist with getting him to the necessary appointments. In order for him to receive the bike he is in need of a helmet and bike lock. He is currently unemployed and having a hard time gaining employment due to transportation issues. If he receives a helmet and bike lock, he will be able to save energy so he can do more with his daughter and will hopefully be able to gain employment to support his family.
