A client of mine has been working full time for months and has a lot of bills at this time including reinstitution and needing to help his mother with her cancer and chemo going on. Ct says he is in need of a queen bed because he has his kids, as he gets them twice a week. When he has his kid they are all sleeping on the floor of any house they are at. Ct also stated that he and his mother last year had rented out his mothers home and needed some money at the time and sold the washer and dryer but since now they are getting the moms house back they are needing a washer and dryer again. This is needed to do all laundry of the house hold including his mothers, his and his children's laundry. ( I do not know what type of dryer he needs gas or electric) if we can get this I will need to find out.

I am reaching out to request financial support on behalf of my client, a dedicated mother of two young children who is currently navigating a difficult financial period due to her daughter’s special needs. She has always placed her children’s well-being above all else, but recent circumstances have created a temporary hardship.

Several months ago, my client made the difficult decision to leave her job in order to care for her autistic daughter, after multiple daycare centers were unable or unwilling to accommodate her needs. Concerned for her daughter’s safety and emotional well-being, she chose to become her full-time caregiver.

Although she has received some assistance through a Navigator for essentials such as food, clothing, and basic necessities, her inability to work full-time has placed a significant strain on her finances. She is currently relying on contract work with Amazon to support her family.

At this time, financial assistance is urgently needed to help her maintain her car, which is vital for continuing her Amazon work. This support would provide her with the stability she needs to care for her children while working toward a more sustainable, long-term solution for her daughter’s care.

We have a foster family who took placement of two siblings into their home last night. They are in need of a convertible crib in order to keep both children in their home long term as their current sleeping arrangement options will only suffice for short term placement. In addition, they could benefit from a play pen for the younger child since he is crawling to help them in their day to day. Hello! We have a 15yo who is absolutely passionate about electronics, video games, and music. He has been diagnosed with an intellectual disability which limits his capacity to understand his situation and make appropriate decisions for himself often leading him to unsafe environments as he behaves and thinks like a 6yo boy. This youth has been going AWOL almost every day and making relationships within the community that we do not believe it is appropriate for him. We have tried almost everything to prevent this youth from AWOLING so often; however, he states that he goes AWOL because he feels bored in his placement. He usually returns from AWOL within 2 or 3 hours, however, his AWOLING is a significant concern for his safety and wellbeing. This youth is very personable and friendly, so we have concerns about individuals taking advantage of him during his AWOLs. This youth has been asking for a Nintendo Switch to be added as one of his coping skills. We believe that having a Nintendo Switch will minimize his AWOLS and he will feel motivated to stay in his placement when he feels bored. The agency has done some searching in the Facebook Marketplace and a gently used Nintendo Switch costs between $100 and $150. We are asking for the money so we can purchase the video game, however, a donation of a Nintendo Switch would be preferred.
