We are in urgent need of funding to purchase two mattresses (we highly recommend with waterproof covers) for a foster family who is working to get siblings placed in their home. As part of the placement transition, they will be hosting the children for some overnight visits soon and they have worked to purchase beds for their home. As a result, they are asking for help in purchasing the mattresses to put on the beds due to the sudden financial strain. These kids will be looking to make this home a permanent placement, so these items would be for use long into the future. I have two wonderful grandparents who adopted three of their grandchildren. This case has been closed for about a year, but they have always stayed in touch and sent me pictures and updates on the children. Yesterday while they were out for Mother's Day dinner their home caught fire. The home is not livable due to smoke and water damage. They have lost everything and are currently staying in an Airbnb. I reached out this morning when I seen the news I knew that it was their home and that they are very prideful and would not reach out to ask for any type of help. The children only have the clothes they left in that day, so I am asking for any used or new clothes for the three girls. The youngest girl wears size 4t in clothes and size 9 in toddler shoes. The middle girl wears a size 6 in clothes and a size 13 in shoes. The Oldest girl wears a size 7 in clothes and a size 1 in shoes. Thank you so very much for your Willingness to help.

We are assisting a family in Austintown who is currently facing financial hardship. They have a young daughter with autism in need of summer clothing (size 4T) and toddler shoes (size 8). Their teenage daughter is also in need of support and could use medium-sized shirts, size 13 pants, and women’s shoes (size 9–10). Any help with providing new or gently used clothing items would be greatly appreciated to help this family feel supported and prepared for the summer season.

Mom is in the process of moving out of transitional living and into her own place. She just moved into her new apartment May 9th. She has absolutely nothing except for her and children’s clothing and toys. She was forced to start completely over when she left an unsafe relationship. She moved into a 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment. She needs your help with one crib frame & mattress for the 1-year-old little boy. One toddler bed frame and mattress for a 3-year-old little boy. One bunk bed frame and mattresses are needed for two boys ages 8 & 12. One twin bed frame and mattress is needed for a 9-year-old girl.

The client is a 38-year-old father of three children, ages five, four, and one. Approximately eight months ago, the client and his spouse separated. Following the separation, the client and his children found themselves to be in a desperate situation. The family currently reside with the paternal grandmother, who serves as their primary support system. The client takes on gig work when possible; however, he is unable to secure consistent hours due to childcare limitations. His mother, who is elderly, struggles to manage the daily care of three young, active children on her own. The client is without a car and relies on public transportation. The children’s mother has disengaged completely. Despite these difficulties, the client is actively working toward stability. He is currently recovering from alcohol use and regularly attends weekly counseling and support meetings. He is working with community support networks to obtain reliable childcare, which would allow him to pursue steady employment. The client is seeking assistance with clothing for the children, as they were left with the bare minimal following the separation. A bus pass, which would enable him to access job opportunities. The client wants to work and provide for his children. The client would be appreciative of any assistance that can be provided. Note: The family is open to gently worn children's clothes. Girls: 18-24 Months, Girls 4T (Shoe size 7.5 youth) Boys 6t or 7t (Shoes-11.5)

I have a student at my school who has come home with lice a few times. The family needs lice kits and the additional expense is difficult due to a newborn in the home too. This is a single-parent household and Mom is seeking additional assistance.

Mom is in need of two window air conditioner units for her apartment. Currently, the children are not able to sleep in their rooms because of the temperature (either too hot in the summer or no heat in the winter). Mom also needs a twin size mattress for a bedframe that she has for her daughter.

I would like to say “thank you” on behalf of my family. Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated. I know that this is a temporary situation because I will be back in the workforce as soon as we get the support we need to get going. My story is long, but I will make it as concise as possible. When I got married to my wife, she had a boy, whom I love dearly. He is on the autism spectrum. I bring him up because everything that is going on is hardest on him. I had a job selling cars, and I made many sales, but what was promised was not paid. I lost several months giving my all to a job that did not cover my bills. I got a new job driving a school bus. At that time, we were living in my father’s house. That’s when the twins arrived. This was too much for him. He was always in a bad mood. His temper always got the better of him. We were afraid for the babies. M and J were afraid to be there when I wasn’t there, and I was afraid for them. One night he just cam in to the room screaming at my wife saying what s going on since the babies were crying and Meghan was getting frustrated with the babies he seemed like he was ready to hit one of us how angry he seemed .at the the time we were holding the babies I had to make a hard decision to keep my family safe cause it would of just gotten worse. We left to stay at a friend’s house, where we are now....but we have to leave very soon. Now we have no income and no savings. Thank you again for listening and all of your help.

Hungry Hearts Kitchen Ministry is seeking donations to help with the purchase of groceries to supply 4 families with a hot meal. These families are either involved in foster care or in the midst of some difficult life circumstance. Would you be willing to contribute? Always looking for volunteers as well. Single mom is trying to move into a home of her own after staying in a shelter with her three children is seeking a few items for the household. Items needed include a microwave, table, toddler bed and a couch. She is incredibly appreciative of the help that has provided already from Pathway Church but these few items would greatly improve the quality of life and well being of her family as they settle into a new life. Gently used items would be wonderful or donation!
