It is no surprise that people are struggling to find a way to make ends meet right now. The rising price of groceries has caused many families to not be able to afford basic necessities. With cuts to the food pantry funding, many of them are no longer able to provide bread, dairy, or eggs. This single mom is trying to make ends meet, but is looking for a little help with these grocery staples. Mom is really great about using available pantries and is trying to keep healthy food in the house, she just needs help with these items. Thank you.

Family of 5 has fallen behind on electricity bill. These parents have 3 young children and one of them has asthma and needs electricity to run a machine that helps his breathing. Edison has turned off the electricity, so the family is living without currently. They have fallen so behind the bill feels impossible for them to catch up. Any amount of the total bill would help them get it turned back on so the family can have a safe environment to live in and the child with asthma can use his breathing machine again.

This family needs a stroller for their baby and size 1 diapers and wipes

Case Manager works with a young child with developmental disabilities who lives with his single mother who has a history of being a victim of domestic violence. Mother continues to do her very best to meet her child's needs. She is working but it is not full time. She also has worked hard to get herself a vehicle. They currently live in a trailer house that has a lot of work that needs to be done. Careportal churches have assisted in the past to rid the home of rodents. Rodents are back and making family sick. Family is looking for help with Bob the Bug Man payments so they can get rid of the mice as well as working to come up with a longer term solution such as closing holes in the trailer. Mom doesn't have the resources at this time to cover the cost herself. Anything can help.

This family in need consists of a mother, her two biological children (2 years old and 5 months old), and also her 15-year-old stepdaughter staying with her. here is significant history of DV between the mother between and father. The mother is in the process of obtaining a new apartment and needs items for the new apartment. She and the children have been living with the father and his family, as she did not have the resources to leave him; the children were removed to be able to and in reunification of the family, the following items are being requested: Toddler bed with railing (for 2yo boy), storage shelves, cube/bin storage, couch, bedding (for 2yo boys toddler bed), safety kits w/ door knobs, cupboard & outlet covers, a high chair for 5 month old boy, baby wipes, baby diapers (size 3 and 5), a dining room table with 4 chairs, and a stroller (double stroller if possible).
