AGAPE is working with a Pregnant Mother who needs assistance with medical bills. She and her husband are having a home birth, and it is expensive, and insurance will not cover most of the costs. They are the sweetest family and would be so grateful for the support!

We currently have a grandmother who is caring for a child with Lissencephaly which is a rare neurological disorder characterized by a smooth brain surface due to incomplete development of brain folds. The child (Male, 3) is unable to walk or talk. The grandmother has a difficult time bathing the child due to her having to keep him in a seated position. The grandmother has expressed that a shower chair would be helpful to help her adequately bathe the child. There is a link below to the shower chair that she has requested. The grandmother has requested it through insurance however they declined.

Haitian family has secured new apartment but lacks furniture! She is more than happy to receive used items!

I have a high school student with extensive vision needs who requires special prescription eyeglasses and lenses. She just went to the doctor for new glasses on 4/21/25. After insurance coverage, this student's uncle still has to pay $172.20 out of pocket, which is a financial hardship for the family. We are requesting funding for the patient contribution amount of $172.20. We appreciate any assistance you can provide - thank you!

I have a father that has really benefit from Care Portal. He still has some things in the home that he needs help with. His first request is that he needs baby safety locks for the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. His second request is that he needs 1-2 people that is willing to help put sheetrock up on his ceiling. He cannot do it on his own and would just need someone that can come to help. Please let me know if you know anyone who can do this.
