A family is in need of help!

A single mother cares for her two children, ages 2 and 5. She recently started working and is trying to move the family to a new home. They are in need storage bins to put items in order to transport them to their new home. They are requesting 5-6 storage bins in the 25-30 gallon size.

I have a Kinship family that has had placement of a sibling set of 3 for over a year now. The family size is 3 adults and 5-7 children (2 visit on weekends and holidays). The family has been residing in a 4 bedroom home but due to new ownership, the family is being forced to leave effective 05/01/25. The family has been searching for months for new housing but has been unable to secure a place at this time. The family is approved for Sect 8 housing and is ideally seeking a 4 bedroom home but is considering a 3 bedroom at this time. The family would ideally prefer to stay in the Payne or Noble county area. We are actively seeking help locating housing for this family to prevent the 3 children from having to be moved and potentially separated.

A single caregiver that is currently caring for 4 children has recently opened her home to another child. The caregiver is doing her best to provide for the needs of all 5 children! Upon the new young boy entering her care, he had very few personal items that belonged to him. The caregiver has purchased whatever she was able to in regards to the young mans needs, however, she is needing assistance in obtaining items for the boy's school uniform and day-to-day school attire. He is planning to attend the same school as the rest of the children under her care. This is Pryor Middle School and it requires that all students wear uniforms. The caregiver has requested any help in purchasing the following items to ensure that the young boy has the correct clothing to be comfortable and successful in school!!

This family has been experiencing homelessness for a number of years. Mom was finally able to access housing and moved herself and her three children into a safe home. However this home is not furnished, and the children have been sleeping on the floor. The only piece of furniture they have are folding chairs in the living room. These funds will support this family in accessing the Chicago Furniture Bank where they will be able to get beds, couches, dressers, a dining room table and more. This support will immensely improve the quality of life of these children and their mom. Thank you so much for your generous consideration and support. 

We are requesting your assistance on behalf of a family in urgent need. The family consists of mother (15 years old) and her daughter (1 year old) who currently lives with maternal grandmother and her two siblings ages 17 (M) and 13 (F). Maternal grandmother is the sole provider for the household and is unable to afford services that are needed in the home. The home is currently infested with bed bugs as why we are requesting your assistance to help with pest control services. The pest control will assist the family improve their living condition and alleviate the issue. We greatly appreciate any donation that will ensure the wellbeing and health of the children as well as the caregivers. Thank you in advance for your continued support for these families in need.

Recently, this mother made the courageous decision to leave a long-term, mentally abusive marriage to seek a better environment and home for her 11-year-old son and herself. She has also started taking college classes to get her degree to provide future support. She is participating in Pathway's DivorceCare where she is building supportive relationships as she starts this new journey with her son. She is moving into her own apartment and is needing some essential items. Their favorite color is any color of blue. Her son is also a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Her bedroom set is the queen size and his is the full size.

A family in our church had a five year old girl placed with them yesterday. She arrived with very little and needs basic items. She will be moving schools and the family has asked that she have some new items to ease this transition, along with every day items.

Our foster family of 7 with a baby on the way is in need of a meal train the week their baby is born (due date is May 3rd). We're hoping to have 5+ people sign up to each bring a large meal (10 servings) the week the baby is born. This will make a tremendous difference for this family as they transition into life with a newborn.

A father has recently gotten housing and needs items for him and his son to be comfortable in their home. A few items are listed but the apartment needs all the basics for living. Financial assistance is also welcome to help purchase needed items.

A couple in our church community are expecting their first baby in a few weeks. The mom-to-be would greatly appreciate if someone could come to their home and put together a dresser while her husband is away at basic training. They are located in Cary.
