We have a 19-year-old male that was placed at Job Corp. Due to them shutting it down this youth has been displaced. He will be placed into his own apartment on 6/6/25. We need a lot of big things along with little things to assist with this emergency transition. For cleaning supplies, he will need the following: • Laundry Detergent/fabric softener • All Purpose Cleaner • Glass Cleaner • Toilet Bowl Cleaner • Dish Soap • Trash Bags • Broom & Dustpan • Mop & Mop Bucket.

A student at school where I work shared with me yesterday and mother confirmed when I called that both the electricity and gas have been shut off at their apartment for failure to pay the utility bills. Mother works 5 days a week- 12 hours a day from 3 a.m. until 4 p.m. including travel time. She is a single mother and has 4 children. Neither of the two fathers of her children provide any type of child support. One father lives in Kansas and is an active alcoholic. Their rent is $1500 a month.
The student at my school had cancer as a child and wears a prosthetic eye due to the cancer he has. He also is on the Autism Spectrum and is considered a student with a disability. He tends to wear the same clothing each day and struggles greatly with managing his anger. Mother plans on paying the light bill as it is low enough where she can pay if off but the gas bill has gotten so high and she is unable to pay it. It is estimated to be $900. She is undocumented so we are uncertain as to which utility billing relief programs she may be eligible for. She receives a 30 minute lunch break each day so I don't know how she would even have time to apply for these programs given her working hours are mostly business hours.

Single Mom with one daughter age 11 needing rent assistance to avoid eviction. Was renting with others and they moved out unexpectedly, causing her to be unable to pay the remainder of the rent.

Single mother of two young girls. Children are co sleeping on a full-sized dirty mattress on the floor. Mother is financially unable to purchase two twin beds for the children. Two twin beds have been donated to the family, mattresses, bedding, and assembly are needed. *Children requested mermaid bedding

A hard working single mom of 4 children (age ranges between one and eleven) from the Goddard area has reached out for help. She works with foster children and cleans houses for income but stated that her work has slowed down this past month and she was unable to pay her electric bill. Initially she thought the company was going to work with her on lowering her payments but unfortunately the company is unable to accommodate. Her electricity is scheduled to be turned off on 6/5/25 if she is unable to pay the $347.00. Would anyone be willing to help this family?

A lady in a senior housing complex is in need of furniture and dishes for her apartment. She only has a bed and a tv. She is in need of dishes, sofa, table with chairs.

A mom at the apartments where we serve is in need of a bed. She has been having major issues with her back due to sleeping on her sofa. She does not work and cares for her disabled son. She is in need of a bed and dresser. Anything you can do to assist will be greatly appreciated.

A member of our church is in need of assistance with his family's utility bill. This family has 6 children all under the age of 12. Both parents are employed and hardworking. Meeting this need will help alleviate this church family from this financial burden!

We have an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of a single mother and her two young children. She’s working hard to provide for her family, but it’s tough to keep up with laundry when she can’t get to the laundromat. 
Right now, they’re sleeping on mattresses on the floor, and she’s seeking gently used washer and dryer units to ensure her kids have clean clothes. Additionally, bed frames would help restore their dignity and self-esteem.
