I am working with a teenager who's foster placement was recently disrupted due to the foster parents getting divorced. The teenager is currently in a respite location but does not have all of her belongings including underwear, pajamas, and school-appropriate attire. There have been several meetings between myself and the foster family to retrieve items, however the youth still indicates she is missing many of her clothing items. I am request giftcards to take the youth shopping to get her provisions needed for her day-to-day life while staying at the respite while other foster options are looked into and investigated.

A Muskingum County grandmother, who lovingly cares for her grandchild, is currently facing a challenging situation beyond her control. The caregiver has worked diligently to maintain a safe and healthy environment for her and her grandchild. Due to the health challenges that the caregiver faces, she must seek the help of a professional extermination company that offers solutions that are safe to use around her medical equipment. The caregiver has made a payment of $106 towards the cost, however the remaining amount of $590.95 is beyond her current financial means. Any assistance would go a long way in helping her restore a clean, safe space for her and her grandchild.

We have two children currently in Hall County with their Paternal Grandmother while the mother is in Rehab and the father is incarcerated. The grandmother indicated that they could use some assistance with Summer clothing for the girls. They are in need of shorts, shirts, tank tops, dresses, shoes, swimsuits. The girls wear sizes 5T and 10 in shoes as well as size 2T and 5 in shoes.

A devoted caregiver to her 11-year-old granddaughter is urgently seeking financial assistance to cover a past-due water bill of $430.86, with a deadline of June 6, 2025. The caregiver, who lives with a disability and receives Supplemental Security Income (SSI), faces limitations in accessing certain forms of local aid, including the Prevention, Retention, and Contingency (PRC) program. Despite these financial and systemic challenges, she remains steadfast in her commitment to providing a safe and stable home for her granddaughter. She has actively reached out to multiple community organizations, including the Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul, and St. Anthony, in pursuit of support. Though these efforts have not yet resulted in the assistance needed, her persistence demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility and care. She is also working closely with a kinship and adoption navigator program to explore long-term resources that can strengthen the well-being of both her and the child in her care. Support toward covering this urgent utility expense would make a meaningful impact on the lives of a dedicated caregiver and the child who depends on her. Any assistance is deeply appreciated.

This request is on behalf of a biological mother and a youth who were recently reunified and need financial assistance to catch up on an essential household utility bill. This biological mother has just started a new job at Walmart within the last two weeks after losing her seasonal position with a tax company. This mother was recently commended by the Court for her hard work throughout the family's case. Any assistance would be highly appreciated and would benefit the family greatly.

We’re reaching out on behalf of a beloved retired pastor and former U.S. Marine who served at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He’s now facing serious health issues, including bladder cancer, and chronic kidney disease linked to toxic water exposure during his service, in addition he’s had multiple strokes and has dementia. Though he qualifies under the Camp Lejeune Justice Act, he’s not yet received any compensation or VA benefits. He currently lives in a board and care facility, but his Social Security falls $800 short each month. His wonderful daughter, who visits and helps care for him, has been covering the difference. Unfortunately, she suffered a medical emergency in March and hasn’t been able to work and has had to move in with a friend. Due to errors in processing her short-term disability, she hasn’t received income since then. Her close friends stepped in to help cover the past 2 months but they can no longer continue. With 2 months of unpaid board and care approaching, no clear timeline for when she’ll receive payment, and no other options, she is extremely worried about how she’ll cover the costs for June and July. We’re working on VA benefits and finding a more affordable facility if her income isn’t restored soon, but that is a lengthy process. In the meantime, we’re asking for your help to keep this faithful man who gave his life to serving God and our country in his current facility and not be forced onto the street. Dear Team Sherry, this is our final update! Sherry, Kaya, and Kennedy are packing and preparing for the big move at the end of June. Kaya and Kennedy will move into their grandfather’s home in Yorba Linda and commute to Saddleback College. Kennedy graduated high school, got her permit, and will have her license soon. Kaya is carefully planning her transfer to Fullerton College in another year. Cameron remains in New York and is doing well. Sherry will be moving to Nevada to live with a longtime friend. It’s an emotional shift after many years living together, but this past year has been a gift. Thanks to your support, Sherry provided a stable home, helped Cameron begin a new path, supported Kaya’s growth, and celebrated Kennedy’s graduation all in their family home. While the family will no longer live together, they’re ending this chapter with something meaningful: Sherry, Kaya, and Kennedy will all serve as volunteers at Royal Family Kids Camp in late June. It’s a full-circle moment, as giving back to other foster families has always been a passion of theirs. The client is seeking assistance with her South Central Power bill, which is scheduled for disconnection on June 3, 2025, due to a past-due balance of $349.60. She is able to contribute $100 toward the amount owed.

The client recently experienced significant hardship, including a divorce followed by a car accident that was not her fault. As a result, she was temporarily unable to work and fell behind on her bills. She has since returned to full-time employment and now has a sustainable income.

Given her current circumstances and demonstrated effort toward self-sufficiency, she has been referred to InterFaith for possible assistance.

A family is need of help with rental assistance with their water bill. Their power went out and water in the same day and are in need of some assistance. There are 7 people living in the home and only 1 person is able to work. The others are kids or adults on disability/recovering addicts. They have reached out to other programs but are not able to receive help at the moment. Anything can help.
