The Department is currently working with an 18 y/o youth (f) who is working on her independence skills. This youth has struggled with substance use for most of her life and is a young mom trying to be a present mom for her child. This youth is working to obtain employment and housing while navigating sobriety. This youth had a car but had it stolen while using substances. This youth is recently open to treatment and maintaining sobriety. This youth has identified a car that will work for her budget and is needing $1000 for a down payment. Anything and everything works for this youth! She is thankful for all the support she can get right now!

We are working with a single mother of 3 young children. Mom has been in the system before and has huge trust concerns with DCF. We were able to break down some of the barriers and mom accepted help for the first time. Mom finally located a job and walks everywhere. She is needing a stroller for her two youngest children.

Family that has fallen on hard times. This bill is due today.

Youth does not have a car and has trauma from taking the bus. Youth is unable to work due to not having transportation. Youth is asking for Uber Gift Cards to help her get back and forth from work until she is able to purchase a car. The team is asking if someone would be willing to purchase three Uber Gift Cards with $50 on each card to help with youth's current transportation issue.

Requesting help for a single mom and her 3 children who recently got out of a domestic violence relationship. Requesting $75-80 for a gift card to Home Depot/Lowe's for stove pellets and the rest for a Walmart Gift card for clothes, food, and toiletries. If possible, the community can provide clothing or shoes, the oldest child wears about a 5 T in pants and shirts and 11 in shoes. The middle child wears a 3 to 4 T in pants and shirts and an 8 in shoes. The youngest child wears 3 to 6 months in clothing. This request will help the family keep the children and family safe, secured, and supported.

a single mother without job has twin girls and she is struggling with the situation. One of the more important things in this moment for this mom is about diapers, she needs a lot of them because she has twins, and helping with this can her some relief in her economic situation. Her babies are 9 months and she needs 2 pack of 50 or more. if you help with this you prevent any bad situation for this mom and her twins

An expectant mother is in need of basic items for a newborn due later this month (May). The mother's community health coach requested an infant car seat, diapers, wipes. These items will allow the child safe transport and will supply the baby's diapering needs for a few weeks. We still need funds for the CARSEAT, WIPES, and DIAPERS. You may click, "Yes, I Can Help!" if you would like to donate any amount of funds so we can purchase the items. Just type in the amount you'd like to contribute. We are celebrating Foster Care Awareness / Appreciation month by hosting a FREE POOL PARTY at River Country Water Parks in Muskogee Oklahoma. We will be inviting current foster and adoptive families from 10+ counties surrounding the Muskogee area to attend. In addition to the pool party, we will be offering information to families of local resources and churches that they can connect with as well as dates for summer activities for VBS and children / youth camps that churches are participating in and inviting children to come to.

The party will be Saturday, May 31st from 6:30-8:30pm with capacity being roughly 700-800 individuals. We will have an RSVP process for the families. We are asking for our networking churches to contribute to the cost of renting the water facility out - $1,200. Any amount helps! We have a beautiful family that arrived here a few years ago from Afghanistan. often the women have to take the children with to stores and other places. this women just had another child and a double stroller to help with a newborn and a 2 year old would be a huge blessing! we give gently used, clean ones - or you could purchase one. t

A church member has a college student, at New River Community College, in a class that is currently homeless along with his father. His father broke both his arms in a work accident due to faulty equipment. Since he is unable to work and the company has put a hold on workers compensation until July they are in need of assistance. The father is unable to work at least until he has surgery on both arms. Their current needs are food and gas for him to get back and forth to work and school.
