This family are in need of bed for the children who currently are sharing a bed and there aren't any mattresses for the male children. They are also in need of organization buckets for the children's toys. They would be so appreciative of any help received, thank you.

A single mother of six is grieving the loss of her sister, who recently passed after a long time in hospice care. With limited income and difficult living conditions, she cannot afford the $2,500 needed for funeral expenses. She shared, “If we can meet this expense, we can finally lay my sister to rest and begin to heal. We wont have to worry about where the money is coming from” Losing a sister is heartbreaking, worrying about how to pay for her funeral makes it even harder. So please churches your support can bring real relief to this family in a time of deep sorrow. Any donation large or small will help lift this burden and bring peace to this hurting family.

This single mom in our program has twins who just celebrated their birthday. She recently started a new job but is still unable to afford a gift that is both meaningful and educational, which is something she truly wants for her children. While she is doing everything she can to provide for their basic necessities, things like birthday presents are difficult for her to budget for. Your support in helping her purchase a special gift for her twins would mean the world to her and would bring joy to her children on their special day.

Maternal Great aunt has relative placement of her 10-year-old nephew and 10-month-old niece. Aunt expressed a need for a walker for the 10-month-old. Aunt also needs help with diapers/wipes. The baby wears Size 3 diapers. She has limited financial resources. Aunt recently stopped working because she fell ill and to be home with the children.

Mother had her items stolen, including her phone. She has been working hard to get back on her feet for the sake of her daughter. We are reaching out to the community for help in replacing her phone and supporting her in providing food for her daughter. A family is looking for support!

A family has recently accepted a child into their home, however, the family recently lost financial support. They are trying to create welcoming room and a loving a receptive home for the new addition. The following items would be of great assistance:

1 twin bedding set - 7-year-old boy 1 blanket - 7-year-old boy 1 twin bedding set - 9-year-old girl 1 blanket - 9-year-old girl 2 queen size bedding sets - 13-year-old girl 2 queen blankets - 13-year-old girl 3 pillows 6 towels size 5 diapers size sneaker 4 - 7 year old boy size sneaker 4 - 9 year old girl size sneaker 9.5 - 13 year old girl size sneaker 7.5 - 14 year old girl size toddler sneaker 6.5 - 2 year old boy

A previous mom we helped some time ago has stated the bed we gave is now worn. A photo was provided to show that. She would appreciate a twin bed for her son (mattress and box springs and rails, or platform frame) and a comforter. This will help her son to get the sleep he needs to be healthy and feel secure.

PLEASE NOTE: RISE CHURCH CAN MEET THIS NEED WITH A BED WE ALREADY HAVE IN OUR INVENTORY. NO FURTHER DONATIONS ARE NEEDED.

A family of 5 is in need of a bed for their oldest son. He is in high school and is need of a full-sized bed. The family has suffered a few set backs and are working hard to get back on their feet. Having a bed will greatly improve the quality of life for this teenage boy. Please consider helping with this need.

One of our favorite Wooddale Staff is needing to move to California for family reasons and needs our Helping Hands at her home, preferably the week of July 21 and all work completed by July 27. The following needs to be addressed are listed:

1.) there is a decent sized hole in the drywall that needs filling (from my mom’s oxygen tank)

2.) help with weeding planter beds and trimming shrubs
