Two year old sweet boy with two loving parents enduring financial hardship in need of 5T pull-ups and 5T clothing. Mother is a stay at home mother to a high energy boy with some developmental delays that require her constant supervision. Father working diligently to get the family into a bigger place with a backyard so his little boy can run in the grass rather than through a parking lot. Father makes very little in wages and their finances are stretched. Any assistance that could be provided for this family would be greatly appreciated. Asking for a large box of 5T pullups, and 5 outfit sets including pajamas for the little boy. He has been resistant to potty training, and growing like a weed, so pull-ups are in high demand for this family.

Household: mother, 3 children (9 yo daughter, 7 yo daughter, 2 yo son).

What is needed any why: Mother and her children moved to their independent housing and still need help with kitchen basics and bathroom supplies. Mom suffers from muscles diseases, mitochondrial myopathy and rhabdomyolysis, and is unable to work or stand for long periods. She has been struggling in recent months after being hospitalized and having to learn to rewalk. Mom is working hard on finding time and energy to cook for her children. Any supports would be greatly appreciated! Things needed:

• Kitchen: pots & pans, baking sheets, silverware, serving spoons/forks, knives, kitchen towels, air fryer, oven mitts, paper towels, can opener, dish rack, floor mats
• Cleaning supplies: vacuum, fabuloso/all-purpose cleaner, mop & self-wringing bucket, broom, laundry soap
• Bathroom basics: body wash, lotion, towels, toilet paper

Help a mom faced with an unexpected unplanned pregnancy. Mom is currently 30 weeks pregnant and is not working at the moment. She is in need of a car seat only and is spanish speaking.

A mom, 35 weeks into her pregnancy, came into our center last week. She shared that she needs help getting items for her baby as she does not have anything right now. This morning, she reached out to let me know that she has been scheduled to deliver her baby within the week. Currently, she needs a car seat so that she can bring her baby home safely.

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to offer her a car seat right now. She does not have a church community to share this need with. I let her know that I would reach out to the local churches in the area to see if anyone would be able to help.

When we purchase infant car seats, we purchase this specific one from Walmart: Go To Link We have found them to be cost effective. Before tax, it is $117.00.

This specific car seat does not need to be purchased, it is simply our recommendation. Please, do not offer a used car seat.

I am caring for a single mother of two young children (6 and4) both of whom have autism, and one of whom is battling cerebral palsy. Since March, she has been unable to work, as her children require countless medical appointments and surgeries, demanding her constant presence and care. She is anxiously awaiting her children’s disability appointment later this month, a crucial step that will determine how she can keep a roof over their heads. With a hearing scheduled in July to address her unpaid rent, her future hangs in the balance. Despite all this, she remains fiercely committed—ready to work once her children are caught up with their medical needs. Her resilience in the face of such overwhelming challenges is nothing short of extraordinary. The weight of these struggles has caused her immense stress and anxiety, yet she refuses to let her children feel this burden. She continues to be their unwavering advocate, fighting tirelessly to secure stable housing and a better future for her family.

A family of 5 is in need of a bed for their oldest son. He is in high school and is need of a full-sized bed. The family has suffered a few set backs and are working hard to get back on their feet. Having a bed will greatly improve the quality of life for this teenage boy. Please consider helping with this need.

One of our favorite Wooddale Staff is needing to move to California for family reasons and needs our Helping Hands at her home, preferably the week of July 21 and all work completed by July 27. The following needs to be addressed are listed:

1.) there is a decent sized hole in the drywall that needs filling (from my mom’s oxygen tank)

2.) help with weeding planter beds and trimming shrubs

There is an individual within the church that coaches underprivileged children that is in need of athletic gear / shoes / cleats for a few of the children in order for them to remain active in sports this summer and throughout the upcoming school year.. mainly he is in need of basketball shoes any sizes and size 12.5 men's cleats and tennis/ basketball shoes. If u have any kids or adult shoes for males new or used in good condition that u would like to donate please please reach out these kids are desperately needing these to continue with the well-being of their athletic abilities not to mention being active in sports helps with the mental well being of our children in today's society
