I'm reaching out on behalf of my client, who is in need of support with essential baby items .Specifically, she is in a need of a diaper bag and infant formula. Formula provides vital nutrition and a diaper bag allows her to keep necessary supplies organized and accessible when she is outside of the home.

I’m requesting financial support on behalf of my client so she can attend an in-person American Red Cross CPR class. This training is a key step toward her obtaining employment and being able to support herself and her child. Please help us strengthen a bio family. A young single single father is providing care for his two children, a 2 year old and a 9 year old. Father is requesting assistance to purchase an electric stove to cook for his children and a dresser drawer to store his children’s clothing. Father just moved into his own apartment and is having a hard time furnishing it. Father used all of his funds to pay for a deposit, first and last month and other furniture for the home. Therefore, at this time father is unable to purchase these items. The father has been working really hard to get to where he is at and would benefit from help getting these items. He would greatly appreciate help strengthening this family.

The parents relocated to Dayton, Ohio from Hamilton County and had some problems finding employment and are unable to pay rent for May 2024. Mother and father both have recently obtained employment in the area and mother is working part-time and father is working full-time and they are working opposite shifts so that they do not have to have daycare for their 1 year old child. The have both been working just over two weeks. Mother is currently pregnant and due in June 2025. The parents have worked hard to obtain everything they need for their daughter and unborn child, but have been unable to save enough money to pay for the May rent due to getting caught up on bills and only having one paycheck each from their jobs. The rent is due on May 3, 2025.

She has starting driving for DoorDash and is looking for other ways to earn income while caring for her child, but she has gotten behind. She needs $262 by May2nd to avoid eviction. Our church is working together with a family who was recently homeless and is getting back on their feet. For years they have been deeply invested in serving our community. The mother has been a constant source of support, providing food and childcare assistance to local churches, always giving selflessly to others.

Without paid family leave, this has created financial strain on the household, leaving them approximately two months behind on rent.

This family would be grateful for alternative forms of support so they can redirect their limited funds toward housing.

An impoverished young couple with a child who is 3.5 years old recently moved out of their parents’ home (which was in terrible condition) and into their own apartment. They both work at a local fast-food restaurant and find it currently difficult to meet their bills because of their new transition to the apartment. They need help with rent, a phone bill, a power company deposit, groceries, and diapers. They both missed work on Easter and the bonus the store was supposed to receive was denied because the restaurant didn’t meet their sales quota. Their current church has also helped them out with money, furniture, and household goods donations.
