Although, Non Minor Dependent is having that challenge, non minor dependent is meeting the case plan goals/court orders and is currently working as a CNA. Furthermore, Non Minor Dependent is committed to learning how to live independently and prepare for the future. During my work with Non Minor Dependent , I have identified the following strengths: hardworking, caring, and loyal. Non minor dependent goals are to keep saving and apply to a LVN program. The main reason I am requesting this need to be fulfilled is for Non-Minor Dependent to maintain her housing and avoid any legal or financial penalties. This need is critical to ensuring that Non-Minor Dependent has her basic needs met of having a safe home. DCFS has assisted the family by providing financial assistance with transportation to work, a monthly stipend, and work clothing allowance. DCFS will continue to link the family to community services such as low-income utility assistance, money management, etc. in order to ensure Non- Minor Dependent successfully prepares for adulthood. This need is being requested through The estimated cost of the need/s being requested is $825.

The 19-year-old NMD resides with his grandmother. The youth is participating in AB12 program. While the youth is currently employed, the youth is not enrolled in college or taking any educational courses. In the past, the youth has shown and expressed interest in attending college and becoming a Firefighter. The NMD does not have a laptop. This CSW and the youth feel that with the youth having a laptop, it may be easier for him to explore and surf the web on different programs and schools that he is interested. It is the hope of CSW Ibarra that the youth becomes inspired in pursing his educational goals with having easier access to explore programs and complete applications while having a laptop. Currently, iFoster is not providing laptops or chrome-books to the youth. Items Needed: • Laptop Which will apply: Emergent due to the youth needing to be in compliance with the AB12 program as well as obtaining employment.

We have been working with a mother and her two sons in St. George. They are moving from St. George to Bountiful to be closer to family. Since the beginning of the school year, they have been living in the mother's parents' unfinished basement. The boys have had a bed to share, but one boy has been sleeping in the mother's bed. This bed has been a mattress without a box spring, and it has been on a cinderblock bed frame that is a little too small. They are moving to Bountiful in order to be closer to the boys' dad as part of the divorce agreement. The mother had to quit her job in St. George, and she is trying to find a job closer to home. She and her adult brother are moving to the same house so they can share the cost of living. The mother needs a bunk bed for the two boys so they can share a room and each have a bed. I am submitting this request on behalf of a 17 year old high school male that is currently staying at a friends house due to being evicted out of his former home. This student is the oldest of 4 siblings. Mom is staying in temporary housing with his younger siblings and is sending what little finances she has where the student is staying. The student would greatly benefit from attending summer camp and would help to relieve some of the financial burden on mom. Student's father is not actively involved in his life and attending summer camp will give the student access to positive male role models as he continues to navigate his life.
