Mother shared she is having trouble with getting enough work hours therefore affecting her ability to care for her son. Mom shared that she needs financial support to help buy groceries, clothing for the boy and pay for her rent. Student is in 5th grade wears small shirt size, 7 boys in pants, and 12.5-1 in shoes.

We work with Atlanta Central Young Life at Maynard Jackson High School. We have a female student who has been so interested in growing her faith this year through Young Life. She has been very excited for our summer camp trip June 1-7th at Windy Gap Camp. She lives with her mother and they are now having to leave their residence that week for a different place to live. Her mother is making her stay home from Camp to help move their home because she does not have other help. We are hoping to give an incredible gift to this family in professional movers. This would allow our student to encounter Christ at Camp in such an impactful way and take considerable stress off her mother and her move. This would be the best gift ever!!!!

We have a family that is in need of assistance with childcare. The two children are living in the home of relatives who work full-time. There are two openings for the summer program at the facility and the family needs assistance paying for the enrollment fees. If this need is met it will help the relatives maintain employment and meet the other needs for the children. Thank you

The referred family is requesting assistance with a stroller and a car seat for a three-year-old child with severe Autism. The child has sensory issues and runs off when out in public. The family cannot afford these items as the father is currently hospitalized with a terminal illness and mother is only working two days a week to provide for the family. These items would help mother best meet the needs of her child as she must transport him to and from the babysitter’s home and his therapy sessions when not able to have them in the home. The family would be appreciative of any help and want to explore all options to make their children as comfortable as possible at home.

The family currently has 2 younger children living with them. The mom stays at home with the small children while dad works full time. They were living in a hotel beforehand and now have their own place. The family now has the opportunity to get their 2 older children back in the home living with them. Their place only has 2 bedrooms and are needing a couple of bunk beds along with the bedding/mattresses if possible. Mom was waiting for the older children to finish out the school year while they were living with their grandparents. She is now hoping to get them back starting in the summertime to enroll them into school in their district. Their hope is to have the family back together again instead of the older children only visiting on the weekends due to lack of room/space for them. The family also has no source of transportation, if it would be possible to drop off the items to their home and meet them, they would greatly appreciate it.

Due to unexpected circumstances, this newly married couple and family of 3 needed to find a place to live. With deposits and moving fees, it leaves them still in need of a refrigerator, washer, and dryer. Please consider helping get this family on their feet so they can care for their precious 2-year-old daughter the best way possible.

Foster Care Awareness Month is here and around 6,000 children are in the Oklahoma foster care system on any given day. All though we care about each one of these amazing kids we want to come alongside those that are in our community to ensure that they know they are loved, supported, and have community.

All though we may not be able to solve the foster care crisis state wide we can solve it in our community. One easy step in doing this is by supporting the foster families that have stepped up on behalf of these precious children. We are working to get 25 care totes prepared for the 25 Foster families that are in our area. These totes are a small example of how we can help support them as they go into the summer months and resources are limited. This is a community opportunity for churches, businesses, nonprofits, and individuals to make a difference. Everyone can do something and together we can make a difference.

The items that you provide can be dropped of at ReaLove in Miami May 22nd & June 5th from 1 PM - 4 PM so that the Care Totes can be assembled and distributed to the families in June.

For the first time ever, between CBC Middle School and High School Camp, we have 14 Neighbor's Ministry Students who would like to attend. This is a record number. Every one of them is a the child of an amazing Single Mom who is either working their tail off to provide for their family, or in two cases, facing serious health issues.

Our Neighbor's Ministry students have been super committed this year to attending Tutoring and/or Bible Study. Many of the Mom's are involved in our Neighbor's Mom's Bible Study as well. This is a HUGE answer to prayer as we have been working to go deeper with the Gospel with our families. However, we were not prepared for the amount of scholarships we would need this year and did not budget for it. In order to be good stewards of our budget and to give them a potentially life changing experience, would you help us cover the cost of sending them to Camp with CBC Student Ministry this summer?

I am convinced that including them in this experience an make a tremendous impact is a testament to the collaboration between Neighbor's and Study Ministry over the past few years. Our heart is that they would come to know Jesus and to be involved and discipled by both our Neighbor's Ministry and Student Ministry strengthening their Christian community and support.

A family is struggling to be able to afford the special formula their infant must have. Both parents work and have WIC but unfortunately WIC is only contracted with Similac. The infant needs Reguline Enfamil with each can costing $40 for 19.5 oz. Without assistance, they will be unable to provide the formula this infant needs to thrive.
