1. A devoted and loving grandmother is providing kinship care for her six-year-old grandson, who has been diagnosed with asthma, ADHD, and Autism. Originally from Ohio, she had been living in Arizona but recently moved back to Ohio to create a stable and nurturing environment for her grandson.

Right now, this grandmother is facing a crisis—her home is without electricity. Her grandson, who is preparing for three upcoming respiratory surgeries, depends on a medical machine to sleep safely at night, making power restoration an urgent and critical need.

While she is working hard to get benefits in place for her grandson and is in the process of securing a Section 8 housing voucher, she is struggling to meet immediate basic needs. She is doing everything she can to care for her family on her own.

Recently, she also suffered the heartbreaking loss of her older son's father, followed closely by the passing of her sister. These back-to-back tragedies have left her emotionally and financially overwhelmed.

This grandmother is doing her very best to keep her family safe, healthy, and together. Any support to help her get back on her feet and restore power to her home would mean the world to her and her grandson during this incredibly difficult time. We are involved with a mother who has worked her services and was just authorized overnight visits with her son. Mom is residing in a sober living facility and does not have anything for her son. She is in need of a pack-n-play for him to sleep in when he visits her, a highchair and a walker would be very beneficial also. The child will turn 1 yr old this month. Any help to successfully reunify this family would be much appreciated.

We are involved with a grandfather who is in need of help. He just took in his 3-yr old granddaughter. Both of her parents are incarcerated. She did not come to grandfather's home with much. The child is in need of 3t-4t pull-ups and wipes and also some 4t summer clothing and pajamas. Anything that will help this grandfather out would be greatly appreciated.

This sweet mama and her 11-month-old daughter are walking through such a tough season right now. They’re currently living in a shelter and relying on public transportation just to make it through each day—getting to work, running errands, doing what she can to care for her baby. She was so relieved when someone helped her get her car to the shop and diagnosed, but it’s been sitting there for a month because she just doesn’t have the $180 needed to fix it. With the summer heat rising and her ongoing health issues, having a reliable car would make a huge difference for both her and her daughter’s well-being. She’s also longing to find a home church—a place to feel seen and supported—and would truly benefit from the love and encouragement of a local church family to come alongside her during this time of transition.

Child has grown up in and out of foster care. Child was raised without knowing who his father was. In 2023 Mother named a man, after DNA results, in Dec 2023- the child found out who his biological father was. Much to father's surprise, as he was informed he could not have children. Father quickly began visiting and getting to know his son. Over a year has passed since they have first met and things have dramatically changed for father and son. They attend family therapy together and are building their relationship. Father was displaced after breaking up with his girlfriend who was not welcoming to the child, after the breakup father was set to move to a home in Pasadena in Jan 2025. Sadly, the home they were supposed to move into- was burned down by the Eaton Fire. Father found housing in Glendora. Father is in need of a couch, dining table and even a TV. Child loves to play video games and uses video games to escape and get his mind off of things such as the emotional toll that visits with his mother and siblings. Father has worked so hard to be able to find a stable place that court can release the child to, and despite his initial home that burned down; he did not give up and did not let that bring him down. For the first time ever, between CBC Middle School and High School Camp, we have 14 Neighbor's Ministry Students who would like to attend. This is a record number. Every one of them is a the child of an amazing Single Mom who is either working their tail off to provide for their family, or in two cases, facing serious health issues.

Our Neighbor's Ministry students have been super committed this year to attending Tutoring and/or Bible Study. Many of the Mom's are involved in our Neighbor's Mom's Bible Study as well. This is a HUGE answer to prayer as we have been working to go deeper with the Gospel with our families. However, we were not prepared for the amount of scholarships we would need this year and did not budget for it. In order to be good stewards of our budget and to give them a potentially life changing experience, would you help us cover the cost of sending them to Camp with CBC Student Ministry this summer?

I am convinced that including them in this experience an make a tremendous impact is a testament to the collaboration between Neighbor's and Study Ministry over the past few years. Our heart is that they would come to know Jesus and to be involved and discipled by both our Neighbor's Ministry and Student Ministry strengthening their Christian community and support.

I am reaching out to request your urgent assistance for a family in need. A local mother, who is currently facing an extremely difficult and traumatic situation, is in urgent need of hotel accommodations for the week.

Her 15-year-old daughter has recently been the victim of domestic violence. The young girl was severely attacked by her boyfriend and is now in critical condition. As a result, the mother is staying in a hotel nearby to be by her daughter’s side during this incredibly challenging time.

Due to the circumstances, the mother is in desperate need of support to continue staying close to her daughter while ensuring her own well-being. Your help in providing hotel accommodations would be a great blessing and relief for this family during such a heartbreaking ordeal.

A family is struggling to be able to afford the special formula their infant must have. Both parents work and have WIC but unfortunately WIC is only contracted with Similac. The infant needs Reguline Enfamil with each can costing $40 for 19.5 oz. Without assistance, they will be unable to provide the formula this infant needs to thrive.

I’m reaching out today to ask for help for a strong, resilient, loving mother of a 15-year-old boy, a 2-year-old little boy, and a precious 7-month-old baby girl. For the last four years, this family lived in a one-bedroom apartment in Kerman, dealing with heartbreaking conditions. The apartment was infested with roaches and had black mold growing in the walls — an unsafe, unhealthy place for anyone, let alone for children. Despite paying high rent to a neglectful landlord who refused to make things right, they had no choice but to stay because it was all they could afford.

Recently, this Mom was finally able to relocate her family to a new apartment in Sanger. But with the move came another hard decision — she had to throw away nearly everything they owned because it was too infested and damaged to take with them. They left behind beds, furniture, kitchenware, and even the baby’s belongings. Now, this family is starting over with almost nothing, and we’re hoping to rally our community to help them rebuild their home and give these children the safe, clean, and loving space they deserve.
