DCFS has a case on a married family who is an immigrant who has 5 children and 3 of the kids do not have beds or mattresses for some of the children. This is needed to help ensure safe sleep. The kids in need of beds are 5 (female), 7 (male), and 9 (male). Your help is greatly appreciated.

I want to submit a request for a mother currently going through a difficult time and needs support. She urgently needs clothing for herself, as she is facing significant financial hardship. Any assistance we can provide whether through donations, vouchers, or community resources would be greatly appreciated and would help alleviate some of the immediate stress she is experiencing.

A mother is currently homeless in Colorado Springs. Her 4 sons recently moved to KS to live with a grandparent. The mother has a car and would like to drive to KS to visit her boys but doesn't have a job to pay for gas at this time. The mother is asking for help with gas gift cards so she can go visit her children.

We are reaching out on behalf of a local family in need of immediate assistance. The family consists of a mother and her teenage daughter who are currently facing difficult living conditions due to a broken central air conditioning system in their home. The mother and daughter were recently reunified and mom has had to fund many changes to the home.

The mother is currently unemployed, as she is the full-time caregiver for her daughter, who requires 24/7 supervision due to specific mental health needs. This has significantly limited the family's financial flexibility and their ability to address necessary repairs or purchase alternative cooling solutions.

Additionally, the home previously housed a large number of dogs, which has left a persistent odor that becomes especially overwhelming in the warmer months. Without proper ventilation and cooling, the indoor environment is not only uncomfortable but also challenging for their health and overall wellbeing.

We are kindly requesting the donation or assistance in securing two or more window air conditioning units. These units would greatly improve the family’s living conditions and offer much-needed relief as temperatures begin to rise.

A single father of two is in need of a birth certificate (cost $25 at local Health Dept.) for him to obtain a state ID so he can apply for employment and other community services and food pantries. He also is in need of a electric stove, due to his stove only having 1 burner that works, and the oven no longer works. This will help with the family to prepare meals to ensure the kids are fed well. The children are in need of clothing and shoes. 5-year-old boy wears a 5t or size xs/5. His shoe size is 10c. Then a 3-year-old, size 4t clothing and shoes 9c. This support for the family will help maintain the household and ensure the children's basic needs are met.
