The referred family is requesting assistance obtaining shoes and clothing for their two children. Caregiver is requesting clothing, undergarments and shoes for minors. Children were placed with Maternal Grandmother (MGM) and mother has not provided clothing for children. MGM is on a fixed budget and unable to purchase clothing for the children. One child wears size Large in clothing and size 4 ½-5 in shoes. One wears a size 14T in clothing, size 3 in bottoms and size 9c in shoes. The family would appreciate the items or gift cards to by the items. The family would be appreciative of any help and want to explore all options to make their children as comfortable as possible at home.

This loving grandmother is caring for her grandson, who was born malnourished and with multiple health conditions that require medical equipment in the home. She had to leave her full-time job to provide the constant care he needs, and while she will begin receiving additional financial assistance in the coming weeks, those funds will not arrive in time to cover her rent due on May 5th. Despite applying to several financial and housing assistance programs, she has not been eligible for support. Thankfully, her landlord is willing to work with her and accept partial payments to help ensure the family can remain in their home during this challenging time.

A single parent foster home has a child with higher needs to which she has to leave work daily to pick the child up to attend therapy then commute back to work. This request is for funds or a gift card to help put towards gas for this daily commute as therapy does not have a foreseeable end date and additional support is needed for the home. Any contribution to this would be much appreciated to this very deserving family.

We have a father who was recently injured at work is facing a unexpected financial hardship. Amid these challenges, his 13-year-old son continues to shine. As he prepares to enter high school, this remarkable young man has maintained a 3.4 GPA, all while participating in his local spelling bee, where he proudly earned 2nd place. The father is deeply proud of his son's hard work and achievement, and he is doing everything he can to support him. However, with limited resources, he is unable to provide a much-needed new twin bed with mattress for his growing son. We are reaching out in hopes that a kind-hearted person or community member might be able to lend a helping hand. Your generosity could make a world a difference to this family and show a young man that hard work and dedication are noticed and rewarded.

Minor child was placed with biological mother with very limited mobility and high medical needs.SHe cannot leave the apartment without assistance. This is a high risk placement. Mom cannot transport child to school at the school he is attending. They are not wanting to switch schools at this time of year. The school paid for Hop Skip Drive for a month, DHS paid for 2 weeks. I am hoping to find donors willing to purchase HOP, Skip Drive gift cards to provide rides to and from school for a week or two . I reached out to HOP , SKIP , DRIVE and this particular childs rides range from $41 to $48 each way per day. An impoverished young couple with a child who is 3.5 years old recently moved out of their parents’ home (which was in terrible condition) and into their own apartment. They both work at a local fast-food restaurant and find it currently difficult to meet their bills because of their new transition to the apartment. They need help with rent, a phone bill, a power company deposit, groceries, and diapers. They both missed work on Easter and the bonus the store was supposed to receive was denied because the restaurant didn’t meet their sales quota. Their current church has also helped them out with money, furniture, and household goods donations. If you are interested in helping this young couple, please see the additional needs to help this family get started on a sure footing. The bills are due 4/30/25.
