There are two families living in this home, there is three children living in the home. Two single moms. Both are currently not working, one was just laid off two weeks ago. The other one recently arrived to Holland with her children. They are working with LAUP staff to obtain employment. They are in need of financial help to pay their rent. The rent is a total of 1,650 but family is asking for 600 or anything that may go towards their rent.

Special Instructions

Depending on how this wants to be funded, we can receive a check and we can pay directly to the landlord or if needed the person meeting the request can also pay the landlord directly

This request supports a family of 5, including multiple children and a mother who recently delivered a baby via emergency C-section. Due to complications during delivery (e.g., including significant blood loss), the mother faces an extended recovery period. Without paid family leave, this has created financial strain on the household, leaving them approximately two months behind on rent.

This family would be grateful for alternative forms of support so they can redirect their limited funds toward housing.
