Single mom with two children has recently gone to a domestic violence shelter. She is needing help with the cost of gas driving to her services and taking one child to summer school and one to daycare in another town that is 42 miles one way from the shelter. She is having to do this Monday thru Friday weekly. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

We are working with a grandmother that took in her teenage grandchild. Grandmother has limitations that make it challenging to complete daily tasks. She relies on her son for financial assistance, but funds are limited and just cover her household expenses. Grandmother has limited ability to make more income and needs assistance with receiving groceries. She has applied for food stamps, but is waiting on approval. She has limited mobility and unable to get out into the community. Providing food for the family would help maintain a family bond and placement. Once food stamps is put in place, Grandmother would be able to provide food on an ongoing basis.

girl (4) is placed with her great aunt, who is a long term placement option for the child. The family could benefit from a secondary booster seat with a back to be able to safely transport in either vehicle at any time.

Mom needs a toddler bed and toddler bed mattress for her 3 year old little girl who has been co-sleeping with mom. Mom also shares this room with two other children. This would allow mom to put the youngest next to her in her own bed and allow mom to sleep better at night and allow for the child to get her own bed.

Help needed for a family struggling to keep their lights on. A single mother of three children has a late utility bill that is needing paid by 5/29/2025. Two of the children use nebulizers for their breathing treatments and are at risk of being unable to receive these treatments if the power is hut off in the home. Mother does not have any local family support to stay with if her lights are shut off and cannot afford to pay the bill in full by the time it is due. We have a young widow, 33 yrs old, with three girls ages 11, 10, 8 years old in need of furniture, see listed needs. She graduated from Hope Gardens recently, is in school to complete her AA degree, and recently through the program was able get housing. This would help to create a comfortable living space for her and her daughters as she continues to futher her education and move forward in her healing and create a space for her daughters to thirve and grow.

Good morning, friends. I have been made aware of a young woman who is 7 1/2 months into a high-risk pregnancy, who has a connection with someone in our church. Part of what she is struggling with is that one of the twins she is carrying passed away quite early in the pregnancy. She has also been in and out of the hospital with various infections, but the baby is fine. She had to quit her job so she has no income and is also not physically able to get out to purchase what she needs. She is being supported emotionally by the baby's father and her parents, but they do not have the means to equip a nursery. If you have ANY baby items taking up space that you would be willing to part with or can help provide any of the items listed, it would be so encouraging and greatly appreciated by them all. She is having a girl and they do have some clothes. I do not expect all of these items to be provided, but I am just throwing out ideas. Thank you so much!
