Mother has been in several domestic relationships in her life. Approximately 4 years ago, her boyfriend at the time attempted to take her life. He went to prison for 3.5 years, however, when he was released, he was able to convince mom into getting back together.. Within a month, he attempted to take her life again and threatened the children's lives as well. Mom left Hawkins Co. and moved back to Knoxville. When he got out of jail, he found her in Knoxville, and mom moved to Johnson City, TN. She is a part of the safe at home program; however, the children’s father has given the mothers address to this ex-boyfriend. He is now threatening to kill her and then commit suicide. He has warrants and is terminally ill, with nothing to lose, therefore DCS is very concerned that he will carry out his threats. Mother has familial supports in Texas and would like to relocate with the children, but is in need of financial assistance to get to Texas. Please consider helping this mother and children reunite with extended family and escape this dangerous situation with a $250 gas gift card.

Please help us strengthen a bio-family. The mother is a A victim of domestic violence and single mother of two children ages two and six. Mother works, however her income is very low and she is barely making ends meet. She desperately needs assistance with diapers and groceries. By providing diapers for her two-year-old daughter and groceries to both girls. By receiving this help Mother will be able to keep her children in her care by showing she is able to provide and help expedite the termination of an open court case.

Youth is an expecting parent and is need of a new pregnancy pillow to support her with sleeping comfortably as she continues to advance in pregnancy.

My ct needs some help with rent at $450 that was due already April 1st. My Ct has had a job at Tyson for a while but then out of no where started suffering heart attacks or high anxiety type issues and got put on a heart monitor. Her doctor wrote her a note for work explaining in his medical opinion she could still work as long as she was put on a lighter duty then normal. This was done for a week or two while the heart monitor was doing its job all the sudden Tyson fired her saying she was a liability to the company and they had to let her go. She is currently talking to a lawyer about the legality of this issue plus filing unemployment that she may or may not get. She also says the unemployment office says unemployment checks when approved can now take a month to get to you. That is crqazy which means her rent will come due again on May 1st. With her light duty work schedule being fired and being off for a week for medical reason my ct's last check was only $40 and needs help with two rent payment of $450 each (one being past due from April 1st the other due May 1st. She already lives in CDSA's housing which is already a low income apartment.

Youth is a young parent with a 7 month old child and would like to have a baby carrier to support her in bonding with her baby when going out on a walk or other community activities. New and gently used carrier welcome.

Family is being reunited and has a new home. Working on gathering things to make it feel more like a home and help them get back on their feet. Starting with the beds. I have a full size bed for mom, but looking for twin size beds for each of the two boys. Mom has asked for pillows and I would love to find them bedding as well. Boys are into Pokemon and Sonic the Hedgehog but anything blue would work.
