Carroll County has a family of 6, that are in need of food. They are working on getting there Food stamp benefits, the family has done everything they have needed to in order for the kids to not enter care. They are just truly in need of food while they wait for the food stamps to be approved. I have created a wish list, we need some one to do a Walmart pick up order so that the family can go and pick it up. I have a list and all the info needed to complete the pick up order. A mother of four has recently had two children (fictive kin) placed in her care by DFS. The caregiver met the children's mother on a Facebook mommy chat. Shortly after meeting the family, the children's mother passed away from cancer. There were seven children in the mother's home at this time. The caregiver who needs assistance is providing for two of the seven. The father of the children is not able to care for the children at this time and is currently on a treatment plan with DFS. The caregiver's income is fixed, and she is awaiting state benefits for the children placed in her care. This family is in need of the following:

Summer clothing 5/6 girls 12 shoes 7/8 girls 1 shoes 13 boy's shoes

Pullups size 5/6 Diapers size 6 Wipes Snacks for the children

This sibling set recently came into care with limited belongs or clothing items. They are currently placed in kinship foster home. First child is a 14-year-old male that wears 36-38 pants, large- xlarge shirts in men's, and a size 12.5 men's. Second child is an 8-year-old female who wears 10-12 girl in both shirts and shorts and size 3.5 in girls' shoes. Any help with spring or summer clothing would be appreciate. DHS is currently working with a family that has a very bad infestation of mice and because of this the child has been removed from the home until this situation is dealt with. There are several items in the home that needed to be thrown out and replaced because it cannot be washed/sanitized or is beyond repair. We are asking for the following donations: bed for mom (full size with bedding), large totes to store food and personal items in for both mom and son, cleaning supplies, couch, shower curtain and rings. All prices are from Walmart.com and we will accept anything donated also! We would appreciate any assistance you can provide this family so we can get her son back into the home. Thank you!

Family is being reunited and has a new home. Working on gathering things to make it feel more like a home and help them get back on their feet. Starting with the beds. I have a full size bed for mom, but looking for twin size beds for each of the two boys. Mom has asked for pillows and I would love to find them bedding as well. Boys are into Pokemon and Sonic the Hedgehog but anything blue would work.

A single mother who is the full-time caregiver for her disabled daughter is struggling to pay her rent after her monthly payment went up. She has starting driving for DoorDash and is looking for other ways to earn income while caring for her child, but she has gotten behind. She needs $262 by May2nd to avoid eviction. Please consider helping this family.

Our church is working together with a family who was recently homeless and is getting back on their feet. For years they have been deeply invested in serving our community. The mother has been a constant source of support, providing food and childcare assistance to local churches, always giving selflessly to others.

We are asking for support to help this family thrive with groceries, summer clothes and shoes for the children, toiletries, laundry detergent, and a gas card. Please consider supporting this family.

Due to complications during delivery (e.g., including significant blood loss), the mother faces an extended recovery period. Without paid family leave, this has created financial strain on the household, leaving them approximately two months behind on rent.

This family would be grateful for alternative forms of support so they can redirect their limited funds toward housing.
