She has had to use her credit cards for food,gas,car repairs and her grandson needs for the last few months, She is asking for a grant to help reduce their credit card debt

Grandmother is raising her two granddaughter ages 20 and 18.the father went to prison and DCFS placed the girls with her in 2022 The 18 year old is severely handicapped she has Webb’s and CP and autism and has about 2-10 seizures per day.
Recently she had to decrease her work hours by half to attend to the 18 year medical needs and appointments. With all the increased coast and inflation. It has gotten harder on her financially and with her only working part time even with the foster care funding, This month she had her rent increased $225.00 and had car repairs and Graduation expenses. She is going to be short $1,000.00 to pay her $2,225 rent. So, she is requesting the grant to cover the shortage.

This caregiver 50 and husband 52 are raising two sisters 8 and 9 for the last two years in the last couple of months the needs these two girls have increased by 80 percent, there behaviors and aggressive outburst have gotten out of control, wrap-around services just started and other intense services, recently a 19 year old was placed in their home the department required that all repairs be done asap for the placement. This girl's outburst have included holes on the walls, broken screens and glass, destroying furniture and home appliances etc, they have had to charge $1,500.00 for material to repair damages on their Home Depot credit. With so many other basic bills and mortgage payments and insurance renewal for their cars of $4,931.24 and her care needs tires the quote is $900.00 and increased food bill as well as having to insure all girls have all their needs met. She is reaching out to see if she can get help with the Home Depot bill or the Tire replacement for her car. They also need to paint, and the paint quote is $400.00

With all these members in the family a washer is necessary.
