Her greatest motivation is to earn her own income and create a safe, stable life for her children. The patient is a young mother currently experiencing homelessness. She is living in her car with her five-year-old daughter and is expecting another child imminently. Due to her circumstances, she has been unable to access consistent meals, prenatal care, or provide her daughter with the necessary support and stability. She has no assistance from family or the father of her unborn child. The patient is feeling extremely scared, isolated, and overwhelmed. Providing her with immediate support would not only address her critical needs but also offer her the encouragement and stability necessary to move forward, reassuring her that she is not alone in this journey.

A soon-to-be 16 year old young man is living with his single mother and older brother in a NYCHA complex in Brownsville, having recently lost his father to cancer. His mother is currently out of work and he has recently been the victim of school and neighborhood bullying. He has been practicing guitar for about a year now and has been active in music program participation at BCJC. Unfortunately, he has no tablet or computer at home and we are requesting one for this participant to use at home. He is currently on probation and can only leave home to go to school and BCJC. We are requesting a tablet for his use at home, so he can work on homework, in addition to further develop the music engineering and production skills he has begun learning at BCJC's music programs.

The family has a history of homelessness. The family just recently moved into a new apartment. Mother and the children have no furniture nor beds. The family is currently sleeping on the floor on top of blankets. Which it is very uncomfortable for the children to get a good night's rest and be prepared for school. The family does not have any couches or a dining room table. The mother will be greatly appreciative with assistance with beds or furniture for her new home, which will provide a safe and stable living home for the children. A Walmart gift card could assist with some bunkbeds or pull-out couch for the children to sleep on.

Family is being reunited and has a new home. Working on gathering things to make it feel more like a home and help them get back on their feet. Starting with the beds. I have a full size bed for mom, but looking for twin size beds for each of the two boys. Mom has asked for pillows and I would love to find them bedding as well. Boys are into Pokemon and Sonic the Hedgehog but anything blue would work.

A single mother who is the full-time caregiver for her disabled daughter is struggling to pay her rent after her monthly payment went up. She has starting driving for DoorDash and is looking for other ways to earn income while caring for her child, but she has gotten behind. She needs $262 by May2nd to avoid eviction.
