Single mom of 2 young daughters needed to change jobs recently. She hasn't gotten paid by her new job yet and doesn't have money for her utility bill after she paid rent for the month. She was able to ask for an extension until May 5 but then the entire amount of $229.58 will be due. If she is able to receive help with this bill, she believes she will be on track and able to keep up with her expenses once she starts getting paid by her new employer.

Mother is a single mother who requested help to complete for her rent and light bill this month as she is struggling due to her paycheck not being complete for taking days off to take care of her medically needy child.

Children are placed in the care of maternal grandmother, and RFA is requesting that she purchase bunk beds as children cannot share beds. The maternal grandmother went through great lengths to secure an apartment paying the first and last month’s rent that would accommodate all three children. As a result of the children's removal, they are showing signs of trauma and one child is exhibiting depression and anxiety which led to anxiety attacks, being withdrawn and isolated. At this time, MGM has exhausted all means to fulfill RFA requirements and can no longer afford to buy bunkbeds for the children. The placement is at risk if beds are not purchased.

#2 NMD has been an exemplary young adult in our AB12/ Extended Foster Care services as she has diligently continued her post-secondary education at Cerritos Colleges, where she is soon to graduate and anticipated to transfer over to a Cal State University of Dominguez Hills. NMD has maintained steady employment for years and now works with a large tech company. She has been a very respectful, responsible, communicative, independent, and a resilient young adult. This assistance will further her ability to become self-sufficient as she is well deserving of the help with her success in maintaining compliance with the department and should be rewarded for her great works and commitment to not only remaining eligible for services, but most of all progress for herself. She is in need of assistance in her transition out of her current home and into assisted living. She is in need of shirts, pants shoes and hygiene products.

Sherry recently started a new job assisting a senior during the day, and Kaya has been a big help in organizing, packing, and preparing for the upcoming move. Individual has had numerous on going medical issues and concerns coming up on 2 years now. he has been unable to work and with financial struggles with making rent, utilities, etc. He has been denied for county and state assistance due crazy reason for example the value of his assets which he only owns 1 car which is non drivable at the moment . We are asking for assistance in ensuring this gentleman is able to get to his appointments and paying his rent and utilities. This request is for a Summit family in need of some assistance. A single mom with 5 kids is moving into a new home. The purchase of the home along with expensive closing costs have made furnishing the home extremely difficult. In addition to the needs list, they could use bedding for each bed. Also, regarding the kitchen table, a rectangle table with 6 chairs would work best for this family. The will be ready to receive these items on or after May 10th. Thank you in advance for your help!

This request is for a family with 3 children, one of the children is an adoptive placement. This family needs 6 dining chairs. Several of the families dining chairs have broken or are not safe for use.
