My ct has been trying to get employment for the past few weeks and not having any luck with that. In the meantime in his home he has not really had a working stove/oven for a while since Thanksgiving and now would really like one for him and his girls. Having a stove/oven would help him make better nutritious meals for him and his girls. He is not particular about his six. shape or color of any stove he may get because it doesnt have to fit between cabinets or anything. It can be free standing on his own. However his house is not ready for a gas stove so he needs an electric one.

A local family is in immediate need of community support to care for 5 young children (12F, 11F, 4F, 2M, and 1M) to prevent them from being placed in foster care. The family is doing everything they can to provide a safe and loving environment but is struggling to meet the basic needs of the children due to hardships and unforeseen circumstances. The family is respectfully requesting 3 car seats (booster seats with backs) for the 3 youngest children, as the family is unable to travel anywhere without proper safety restraints. The family is also in need of a grocery card/ gift card to purchase food staples, basic food items such as milk, eggs, etc. and diapers for the 3 youngest children.

Your help can make a huge difference in ensuring that these children remain safely with family, surrounded by love and stability instead of being separated into foster care.

A request is being made for foster parents to have access to an electronic device, such as an iPad. This would enable their participation in various platforms and provide foster children with opportunities to engage in virtual out-of-school programming, attend court hearings, and access to academic support services.

This mom is intellectually limited and is struggling here in the community with no support system that is local. She had historically been exploited due to her limitations and found herself involved with the legal system. She has made great improvements over the past couple of years. Her family that lives in Virginia has asked her to move near them so that they can help be the support that she needs to get a fresh start for her and her son. She is very excited for this opportunity. She has several totes filled with clothes, cleaning supplies, and personal items that she wants to take with her. The family has helped her find an apartment that will be ready in the next 7-14 days. She does not have a driver’s license but is looking to have a van rented and find someone to drive to Virginia with her belongings. Requesting assistance for van/suv car rental Items Needed: 1. WE NEED TO RESCUE A FAMILY TODAY! A Family of Seven( A Mother of Six children). Four are Cape Public students and two are 3 yrs and under. We have a commitment of $500 from two of the local churches. I need to see if another church would like to commitment to assisting with $161.00. This mother has never ask for assistance from the school before. This money is need by today in order to keep her electric on. Just $161.00!!!

A family is struggling to be able to afford the special formula their infant must have. Both parents work and have WIC but unfortunately WIC is only contracted with Similac. The infant needs Reguline Enfamil with each can costing $40 for 19.5 oz. Without assistance, they will be unable to provide the formula this infant needs to thrive.

I’m reaching out today to ask for help for a strong, resilient, loving mother of a 15-year-old boy, a 2-year-old little boy, and a precious 7-month-old baby girl. For the last four years, this family lived in a one-bedroom apartment in Kerman, dealing with heartbreaking conditions. The apartment was infested with roaches and had black mold growing in the walls — an unsafe, unhealthy place for anyone, let alone for children. Despite paying high rent to a neglectful landlord who refused to make things right, they had no choice but to stay because it was all they could afford.

Recently, this Mom was finally able to relocate her family to a new apartment in Sanger. But with the move came another hard decision — she had to throw away nearly everything they owned because it was too infested and damaged to take with them. They left behind beds, furniture, kitchenware, and even the baby’s belongings. Now, this family is starting over with almost nothing, and we’re hoping to rally our community to help them rebuild their home and give these children the safe, clean, and loving space they deserve.

A mother has lost custody of these children, and they are staying with an aunt. They have all been abused. The children only have a few clothes that the aunt has bought them, no toys, and very little toiletries.
