Family has been homeless for months is finally getting into a trailer move in date 5-30. The children have been staying at the Noyes home for months. They have received beds for the family. They are needing a couch and kitchen table with chairs for their new home.

Good afternoon Restore CarePortal family! We recently helped a family obtain a dumpster that is working with Family Centered Services so they could clean out their home to make a safer, clean environment for the children to return. This family has experienced significant loss recently, and is working to find stability going forward as income and head of household roles have changed. They are currently working to get caught up on their electric bill, and could use support to help. Mom will be working with our church team as well to go through budget and form a plan to make sure they remain sustainable in the future. The Kinship placement is needing daycare for the child placed in their home and they are now in need of daycare for the child. The kinship mother is going back to work and they need daycare. They found daycare but the child cannot start until July. The daycare is asking the kinship mom to pay 500 to hold the child's spot and its the only daycare that had an opening. 16 year old teen girl is placed in a foster home in Wichita long term. However her aunt is in KC and is an ongoing support. She will be providing a week long respite while the foster home is out of town, but is limited on her income and has two other children of her own. She is needing support with groceries for the week while the foster child (her niece) is with her. Gift cards for Walmart, target, or other grocery stores are accepted or payment for groceries.

Grace Chruch Family, a need in the community has come to our attention that we would like to help with. A mom needs help with an electric bill. She has 3 children ages 6, 2, and 5 months. The baby was born early and this has caused her to get behind on several bills. Thank you for any amount you feel led to fund.

A family with a child with special needs (seizure disorder and autism) is seeking assistance for a small portable air conditioner. Initially mom thought that the landlord got this fixed but as the days get hotter the a/c cannot keep up. The child’s seizures worsen with heat and the mom is about to undergo a surgery. Does anyone have a used portable a/c that can be donated? Or can you find it in your heart to donate to this cause?

Single mother (who Emmaus members have been walking alongside) escaping domestic violence from husband along with two kids under the age of 7 years. She is starting over from scratch as they left the house with nothing and has no extended family support. She would like to have a car which would provide transportation so she can get a job so that she can get into housing. We are hoping to provide $3,000 towards a vehicle.
