We are seeking support for a single mother of three children in the CCR3 community. Her water was shut off today due to an unpaid bill, and she is currently without access to running water in the home. She is doing her best to provide for her children but is facing financial hardship and unable to cover the amount needed to restore service. She is currently between jobs and is waiting for her first paycheck.

Any assistance to help get the water turned back on would make a meaningful difference for this family’s stability. We are grateful for any support your team or network may be able to provide.

Family consists of a minor mother (17 years old) and her 1 year old child. Assistance is being requested for the purchase of a crib and mattress for the toddler. The family lives in a one bedroom one bathroom duplex, where the bedroom is shared by minor mother, the child and maternal Aunt. Mother stated the child has a crib at father's home, however she cannot afford to purchase one for her home. Mother is not receiving any public assistance at this time, and will apply once she turns 18 y/o. Co-sleeping, especially at a young age can pose significant safety risks. It is recommended that the 1 year old child have her own safe space to sleep where she can be comfortable.

I’m reaching out on behalf of a family I am working with who has a 7-year-old child who has been diagnosed with autism. The family is seeking support to provide their child with a weighted blanket, as well as noise cancelling headphones. The child is reported to love dinosaurs, purple, and shiny items, so the requested items below reflect the child’s preferences 😊

These types of sensory items have been shown to help children with disabilities feel more grounded and calmer, providing them with the comfort they need to navigate everyday challenges. This small act of kindness could make a big difference in this child's emotional wellbeing.

The family would be deeply grateful for any assistance in obtaining these items and they’re hopeful that the community can come together to support them in this effort!

Assistance is being requested for a family consisting of a paternal grandmother and her grandchildren. The caregiver/paternal grandmother currently has four grandchildren placed in her care and had to part ways with the family couch because of damage. While the mother and father of the children are in the process of trying to reunify with their children, the grandmother/caregiver could benefit from help when it comes to receiving a couch. This will help support the children and family by providing the children with a sense of normality when spending time as a family in the living room, watching television, or simply just relaxing. Additionally, the grandmother/caregiver reported she sleeps in the living room on the couch while the children are in her care due to the bedrooms being occupied by the children and her daughter. A couch would also, therefore, help the grandmother with her sleeping arrangement. The family will maintain this need when it is met by taking care of the new couch and also utilizing the couch as a family.

We have a Aunt & Uncle who are the parents of 3 children (two teen, plus a 5 year old who they pay full price on child care for). They graciously stepped up to avoid 4 relative children from coming into custody (ages:7,4,2, and 10mths). The family had been able to maintain the child care needs, however due to an increase of hours on the aunts job, they are no longer eligible for the child care assistance. (They also aren't eligible to receive any assistance via DCS).

If the family isn't able to stabilize the child care by Monday, these 4 children will have to come into custody. The Day Care Center also provided a $500 discount to help! We at least one month of assistance as they can't financially care the full amount at this time. And we need time to work out another plan! Any support would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

This request is for a Summit family in need of some assistance. A single mom with 5 kids is moving into a new home. The purchase of the home along with expensive closing costs have made furnishing the home extremely difficult. In addition to the needs list, they could use bedding for each bed. Also, regarding the kitchen table, a rectangle table with 6 chairs would work best for this family. The will be ready to receive these items on or after May 10th. Thank you in advance for your help!

This request is for a family with 3 children, one of the children is an adoptive placement. This family needs 6 dining chairs. Several of the families dining chairs have broken or are not safe for use. If you have used dining chairs you would like to donate or would like to purchase new ones, I know this family would greatly appreciate it.

Family is being reunited and has a new home. Working on gathering things to make it feel more like a home and help them get back on their feet. Starting with the beds. I have a full size bed for mom, but looking for twin size beds for each of the two boys. Mom has asked for pillows and I would love to find them bedding as well. Boys are into Pokemon and Sonic the Hedgehog but anything blue would work.

A single mother who is the full-time caregiver for her disabled daughter is struggling to pay her rent after her monthly payment went up. She has starting driving for DoorDash and is looking for other ways to earn income while caring for her child, but she has gotten behind. She needs $262 by May2nd to avoid eviction. Please consider helping this family.

Our church is working together with a family who was recently homeless and is getting back on their feet. For years they have been deeply invested in serving our community. The mother has been a constant source of support, providing food and childcare assistance to local churches, always giving selflessly to others.
