This current request is originally from Wythe county Department of social services. The Department is working with a biological mother to a child in foster care. Child came into foster care, at no fault of the mother, due to death of a relative who had custody. The mother and her husband own their home and have limited resources. The family has been renovating a room in their basement for this young man (age 16) to come home to. The room is just in need of new carpet. This is the only thing needed to complete The Department is requesting any help that can be provided.

We’re praying for a harvest soon, as they must be fully moved out of their home by the end of June. Kennedy is preparing to graduate from high school in just a few weeks and is stepping into the next chapter of adulthood. Cameron has been thriving in New York; he's already received a glowing letter of praise from a client for being so helpful! Sherry recently started a new job assisting a senior during the day, and Kaya has been a big help in organizing, packing, and preparing for the upcoming move. We are currently working with a kinship foster home who has taken in a 10 year old boy. The family is working hard on getting fully approved and connecting the child to appropriate needs. The family is needing support with a bill until they are consistently receiving assistance from DHS. If you feel that you can support the family in this need let me know and I would be happy to connect.

I am writing to request assistance in securing a dumpster for a family in need of removing hazardous debris and junk from their home. The family, located in Hall co. is facing a situation where unsafe and unhealthy conditions have developed due to the accumulation of debris and junk. These conditions pose potential risks to the family’s health and safety, and it is imperative that the area be cleared in order to prevent further hazards. The family is unable to afford or manage the removal of these items on their own, and as part of our efforts to improve their living situation, we would greatly appreciate assistance in providing a dumpster for safe and responsible disposal. We have providers who are hired and helping the family clean the home. If they are not able get the home in a livable condition, the 7 children could enter foster care.

The client is doing her best with her 14-year-old and 4-month-old but has no outside support and can only work every other weekend. Her water was shut off two days ago, and she is urgently seeking assistance with the bill. She also needs basic household items for herself and her children, as she is starting from scratch. The client above is looking for a dresser for herself, her 14-year-old son, and 4-month-old daughter. The client is also in need for baby clothes for her 4-month-old. Individual has had numerous on going medical issues and concerns coming up on 2 years now. he has been unable to work and with financial struggles with making rent, utilities, etc. He has been denied for county and state assistance due crazy reason for example the value of his assets which he only owns 1 car which is non drivable at the moment . We are asking for assistance in ensuring this gentleman is able to get to his appointments and paying his rent and utilities. This request is for a Summit family in need of some assistance. A single mom with 5 kids is moving into a new home. The purchase of the home along with expensive closing costs have made furnishing the home extremely difficult. In addition to the needs list, they could use bedding for each bed. Also, regarding the kitchen table, a rectangle table with 6 chairs would work best for this family. The will be ready to receive these items on or after May 10th. Thank you in advance for your help!

We have a couple at our campus who is needing some help with rent assistance. The husband is facing a chronic illness and is seeking employment that is flexible with his health. They have two teens in their home who they support. The family has gone through seasons where they have relied solely on the wife's income and are currently catching up on rent.
