KCMO Angels is supporting an 18-year-old youth in foster care currently placed in an independent living program. She is experiencing challenges with food theft and limited access to activities during personal time. Recently, she left campus without a pass due to boredom and lack of available staff for approval, which resulted in consequences.

Students mother recently passed away and student was left with an older sibling struggling to make ends meet and was doing online school. Recently he enrolled at a school in the Hart District and will begin training to be part of the football team. Student would benefit from being able to shop for school essential clothing for the remainder of this school year and for summer school.

The family came in asking for financial assistance in getting a school yearbook for their child. The child has perfect attendance and a 3.78 GPA and have asked the parents for a yearbook for their hard work, but the family is unable to afford one at the moment.

Kennedy is preparing to graduate from high school in just a few weeks and is stepping into the next chapter of adulthood. Sherry recently started a new job assisting a senior during the day, and Kaya has been a big help in organizing, packing, and preparing for the upcoming move. This request is for a Summit family in need of some assistance. A single mom with 5 kids is moving into a new home. The purchase of the home along with expensive closing costs have made furnishing the home extremely difficult. In addition to the needs list, they could use bedding for each bed. We have a couple at our campus who is needing some help with rent assistance. The husband is facing a chronic illness and is seeking employment that is flexible with his health. They have two teens in their home who they support. The family has gone through seasons where they have relied solely on the wife's income and are currently catching up on rent.
