We are reaching out on behalf of a young woman in the Foster Youth in Transition (YIT) program and her boyfriend, who are both working hard to support themselves and others in need and are in need of food assistance. In addition to covering their own expenses, they are currently providing housing and care for her aunt, who has diabetes and is unable to work, as well as a 17-year-old boy who recently became homeless after his father was incarcerated. While they both work full-time and regularly utilize food banks, their limited income is stretched thin after paying rent and essential bills, leaving little to no money for groceries. This couple is doing everything they can to keep their household stable, but they are in urgent need of grocery assistance to continue supporting themselves and the two individuals depending on them. Any help with food support would be deeply appreciated.

The department is working with a 20 year old girl that has faced abuse in the past and as a result has become very independent and very hard working, she currently has 2 jobs and is getting ready to start a 3rd. This month she experienced some unexpected expenses and is now facing not being able to pay rent this month for an apartment that she lives in with a peer. This youth is also preparing for her 21st birthday and will be aging out in just a few short months. Any help would be apreciated by this youth! Thank you!

Father is in florida working and is the sole provider for the family. Mother is currently struggling to find employment and recently moved to a new apartment and is needing support with a twin bed mattress for her daughter and a dining table for 4. (her and her 3 kids). Anything new or gently used would be appreciated thank you.

A 7 year old boy recently moved to KS to reside with his grandfather. The grandfather needs the boys birth certificate to get him on KS medicaid and establish medical providers in KS. We are asking for help purchasing a birth certificate for this boy.

This request is to assist 4 special needs siblings, who were brought into foster care unexpectantly and placed with 2 different kinship families . The receiving families are in need of basic furnishings to accommodate this unexpected life event and stabilize these traumatized children. Items needed include;
bunk bed crib single bed, mattresses, bedding, pillows Any assistance would be so appreciated as we attempt to create and support a family placement which will prevent these children from living with strangers

We’re praying for a harvest soon, as they must be fully moved out of their home by the end of June. Kennedy is preparing to graduate from high school in just a few weeks and is stepping into the next chapter of adulthood. Cameron has been thriving in New York; he's already received a glowing letter of praise from a client for being so helpful! Sherry recently started a new job assisting a senior during the day, and Kaya has been a big help in organizing, packing, and preparing for the upcoming move. Individual has had numerous on going medical issues and concerns coming up on 2 years now. he has been unable to work and with financial struggles with making rent, utilities, etc. He has been denied for county and state assistance due crazy reason for example the value of his assets which he only owns 1 car which is non drivable at the moment . We are asking for assistance in ensuring this gentleman is able to get to his appointments and paying his rent and utilities. We are requesting help with rent of $300 Car repairs of $300 Basic essentials $100 The simplest little bit would be crucial in assisting this young man

This request is for a Summit family in need of some assistance. A single mom with 5 kids is moving into a new home. The purchase of the home along with expensive closing costs have made furnishing the home extremely difficult. In addition to the needs list, they could use bedding for each bed. Also, regarding the kitchen table, a rectangle table with 6 chairs would work best for this family. The will be ready to receive these items on or after May 10th. Thank you in advance for your help!

We have a couple at our campus who is needing some help with rent assistance. The husband is facing a chronic illness and is seeking employment that is flexible with his health. They have two teens in their home who they support. The family has gone through seasons where they have relied solely on the wife's income and are currently catching up on rent.
