Mom is reapplying for the childcare subsidy but she thinks she is just above the income guidelines. Mom is also stressed due to NLHS closing and she has to find a new childcare center which will most likely be more expensive each week and require a registration fee.

I am requesting rent assistance for a family that consists of 4 children and 1 parent. The father was recently deported and the family was already facing financial hardships but now mom is the sole provider for the family and is reaching out for support. Mom is employed but is struggling to pay for monthly bills and basic needs, including rent. Assistance for this month is being requested while we are in the process of getting more longterm supports in place for this family. Requested rent for one month is $700.

After several years of being homeless and living out of motels, a mom and her 5 children are finally moving into a permanent home to call their own! Through a lot of hard work and seeking assistance, Mom has come a long way to better her family and she is excited about this next chapter ahead. A local church is taking the lead on helping the family get moved in and making sure they have all the essentials to start strong after this transition. However, the biggest need right now is for bed frames and mattresses to set up the rooms in their new home. They are closing in mid-May and need to have the items in hand so they can get settled as soon as possible. Any funds or items given to this request will help this family through a critical transition that will determine their long-term stability in this next season of life. Thank you!
