A student who is excitingly anticipating their 8th-grade graduation, a major milestone that marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. But for this family, celebrating this achievement is proving difficult due to financial constraints. The family is doing their best to make ends meet, but with everyday expenses and unexpected costs, they simply cannot afford the graduation fees, which include tickets, yearbooks, and end of the year activities ( Luncheon, and Trampoline Park). These fees, though modest, add up to a total of $200, and without help, the family fears their child may miss out on the opportunity to celebrate this significant moment. The child has shown incredible dedication, striving to succeed despite the challenges they face at home. This graduation is not only a celebration of their academic accomplishments but also a testament to their perseverance and strength. Former foster parents already raising multiple special needs children have opened up their home again to take in a family members infant daughter. They were able to accept placement but are in need of many baby supplies. This large family has struggled to find housing to fit their family size and so the larger baby items that are needed need to be more compact than the standard size if possible. These relatives need a compact bassinet or mini-crib, Dr. Brown bottles, receiving and baby blankets, snuggle/swaddle wraps, socks, wipes, compact foldable swing, baby bathtub, pacifiers, Enfamil yellow or blue can formula, stroller (not as urgent or immediate a need). Additionally, this little girl was prenatally exposed and so the wraps, swing and specific bottles would be so helpful and soothing.

A youth I am working with is applying for jobs. He does not have a car or driver's permit at this time. When talking about how he would physically get to his job, he said he planned to use his first paycheck to buy himself a bike. I asked him if I could use CarePortal to request a bike from the community, he said he would think about it. He finally agreed to allow me to make this request! Parents with three children and a disabled grandfather lost their apartment and are displaced due to a fire in their dwelling. They are currently living in a hotel and have a short time to relocate. They are in need of clothes, food, hygiene and household items. They are currently looking for a 3 bedroom apartment in Staten Island and have a voucher to use towards rent. Mom is a size medium/10 in Womens and shoe size 5 1/2, Dad is size 2XL in Mens and size 12 in shoes, 10 year old son is size 16 in Boys /XS in Men and 5 1/2 Kids Shoe size, 5 year old son is size 8 in Kids and 13 1/2 ins Kids shoe size, 15 year old daughter is wearing Mens small / 32 pants size and 7 1/2 mens shoes, Disabled grandfather is wearing Mens XL, mens pants size 34 and 8 1/2 mens shoes.

We’re praying for a harvest soon, as they must be fully moved out of their home by the end of June. Kennedy is preparing to graduate from high school in just a few weeks and is stepping into the next chapter of adulthood. Cameron has been thriving in New York; he's already received a glowing letter of praise from a client for being so helpful! Sherry recently started a new job assisting a senior during the day, and Kaya has been a big help in organizing, packing, and preparing for the upcoming move. Individual has had numerous on going medical issues and concerns coming up on 2 years now. he has been unable to work and with financial struggles with making rent, utilities, etc. He has been denied for county and state assistance due crazy reason for example the value of his assets which he only owns 1 car which is non drivable at the moment . We are asking for assistance in ensuring this gentleman is able to get to his appointments and paying his rent and utilities. This request is for a Summit family in need of some assistance. A single mom with 5 kids is moving into a new home. The purchase of the home along with expensive closing costs have made furnishing the home extremely difficult. In addition to the needs list, they could use bedding for each bed. Also, regarding the kitchen table, a rectangle table with 6 chairs would work best for this family. The will be ready to receive these items on or after May 10th. Thank you in advance for your help!
