A family that was recently immigrated from Venezuela to New York was placed in temporary housing in Queens. We first connected with them through a community outreach event and have continued to support them since then. They have two children - one is seven and the other is two years old. They were recently moved into an apartment, but they don't have the resources to furnish it. Right now, they're in need of beds and basic bedding. Most of their income goes towards food, so helping them with these items will go a long way as they work to get settled. Both parents are employed, and we want to come alongside them during this time of transition.

A single mother and her one year old son fled an emotional and physically unsafe situation and unfortunately had to leave many of their items behind. The mother has utilized many community resources to gather back the essentials but she has not been able to attain a car seat for her son. This family would greatly benefit from a toddler convertible car seat to ensure the one year old's safety while travelling in a vehicle.

A child was missing and was found and returned to his mother. The mother is in need of a bed for the child.

I am working with a young single mother or a 4-month old baby girl. She has been doing very well for herself and has been utilizing community resources for diapers and formula whenever she can as she has not started receiving the Canada Child Benefit yet and her finances are limited. Her baby girl recently started rolling over and can no longer sleep safely in the bassinet. This young mother is in need of a crib for her little girl. This would increase the baby's safety and decrease her risk or injury from an accidental fall.

Family looking for assistance in obtaining stroller for baby (due November). Both parents are working with limited income and have been saving for other baby needs. A single mom in Cannon Falls is requesting assistance to replace a window in her trailer home. She already has a new window to install.

Mom has a child on the spectrum, so it is hard to find good day care. She is home with the kids until she can get services. That being the case, a kitchen table will help for the family's meals and for the kids to sit at and do activities. It will help the apartment to feel more like home. A lady in a senior housing complex is in need of furniture and dishes for her apartment. She only has a bed and a tv. She is in need of dishes, sofa, table with chairs.

A mom at the apartments where we serve is in need of a bed. She has been having major issues with her back due to sleeping on her sofa. She does not work and cares for her disabled son. She is in need of a bed and dresser. Anything you can do to assist will be greatly appreciated.
